Great Jokes That Help Tell A Story
I had this book sent to each of my two six year old grandsons, different families, and they both love it. They learned to read it and have read it many times already, laughing and laughing at the Knock Knock jokes.I love it too and find the delightful artwork supports the story beautifully and rewards close examination.I am a retired teacher and feel sure this book would be a favorite in any primary classroom.

A Fun Read Aloud!
KNOCK KNOCK by Tammi Sauer is a fabulous new book that teaches kids some humorous jokes that they can adapt and make their own. The story itself focuses on a bear getting ready to enter into hibernation, but is continuously interrupted by his friends knocking on the door. The sweet conclusion is the perfect end to this amusing story.Joke books always flew off the shelf at my library and there is no doubt that this one will be popular among children. Teachers will also love it because it can be used as an entertaining way to introduce a nonfiction unit on hibernation.

Mini Reviews
All I could do with this book is Laugh! First of all one of my grandsons read this book to me as part as his Home school projects to get him back into reading. He Loves Knock Knock jokes. Actually any kind of jokes. I sat beside him as he read and each time he was ready to turn the page we would be laughing. Author Tammi Sauer has a great knack for writing for kids. Braxton loved reading and I absolutely loved reading this with him. The illustrations by Guy Francis were also great. So if your kids love to tell Jokes this book is a great one for them to read. For those reasons above I will be giving this book a Breath of Life Rating of:Five Clock Rating!Disclosure: I did not receive the above book in exchange for my honest opinion and or review. But the Opinions are my own and yours may differ.

A winner!
Tammi Sauer has done it again! Knock Knock has it all. It's a lot of fun to read aloud, the illustrations are hilarious (especially bear's expressions as his frustration grows), my kids loved to interact trying to anticipate all the knock knock jokes and the ending couldn't be more satisfying. Love it!

Knock-knock joke turned tale
In the picture book "Knock, Knock," poor Bear is trying to hibernate. But he keeps being disturbed. Knock, knock goes the door, as animal-after-animal arrives to tell Bear a joke. A clever take on the traditional knock-knock joke, each page turn reveals a laugh and a new friend for Bear. Children who are just starting to exercise their funny bones will be engaged by this smart, silly story.
