Awesome batteries for the price!
These batteries arrived on time and we're in perfect condition. This is not our first rodeo with these batteries we have been buying them for several years and several different sizes to meet our needs. They are a great battery that hold a charge for a good long time and they recharge well. Their longevity seems to be great but I am not a battery expert by any means. I just know when I need a battery I grabbed one of these little babies. I slap it into my charger to give it a little extra boost before putting it into my item and that's the end of the story. They come with a little bit of a charge too, so if you're in need of using them right out of the box you can get a little bit of life out of them before charging them which is good to know. I would definitely recommend to a friend hands down.

Just Work
Bought some cheap walkway lights but the batteries did not last long. These were much more powerful and seem to last longer.

Good quality at a reasonable price
These are good quality NiMH batteries. Long lasting in daily use. The latest set does seem to not hold its fill-up charge very long. If I charge up a group, and set them aside for a few weeks, my smart charger says their charge state has sagged somewhat. As my charger is automatic, it is charging until the battery output matches its input. Sag is the charger going through its recharge cycle and noting the battery is below standard. It must be somewhat real as it takes an hour or so to bring the cells back to "100%." They still hold charge near the short term sag for at least several weeks. Given that regular alkalines have a significant likelihood of leaking during the last part of their life, and LEDs just dim and do not change color, in my opinion, most any "AA" or "AAA" application that does not expend the cells in one use should not use alkaline cells. These NiMH have a very flat discharge curve, so for most applications they provide similar performance, including charge retention, and similar total power per charge, and easily recharge. Considering that they have essentially no memory effect retain useful levels of charge for long periods, and recharge for MANY cycles, and do not destroy valuable items, the choice is simple. Competition from Li-ion cells is likely coming, but may not be ready for prime time yet. It's too bad devices using the ubiquitous 3-AAA cartridge don't use holders that can be replaced by 18650 Li-cells is short-sighted

Not Precharged For Me, But Batteries Running Strong
I purchased these along with the LCD charger and just opened them up and popped them into the decharger/recharger. For me they still had to be recharged (all of them were at 1 bar). I'm about 30 minutes in and it's still 1/3 bars for the AA and 2/3 bars for the AAA. It might be because I may have received an older batch so the "juice" slowly ran out. This may be irritating for people who need to use the batteries right out of the pack. They were packed in a nice fitting box and the batteries were packaged in sets of 4 in thick high quality plastic (acetate?).But so far they seem good, I did pop a few out mid-charge and tested them in battery operated devices (flashlights, tabletop vacuum, personal humidifier) and they all worked great. My flashlight was at full brightness even with the 1 bar AAA batteries. I even played around with my dog for a good 20 minutes and it was still going strong (my flashlight has a focused light option so it was like a laser dot). The batteries do get a bit warm while charging but that's to be expected since it's energy going into a vessel.I will update my review as time goes on.

Short lasting but rechargeable so it equals out
I bought these to stop buying energizer batteries at the store. I bought the charger that goes with these by the brand as well, which pairs great. The batteries seem to charge fairly quickly, unless you drain them first in the charger. I use mine on led motion lights on my stairs. The lights are really bright for a few days but they seem to be dull quickly and only last a few weeks before they are completely drained. Energizers last 3-4 times as long. The value in these are they are rechargeable though. If they really last 1000 charges, they are worth it.
