Nice starter kit, and the recipe book helps a lot.As much as I cook Lebanese, this would not last long, but it makes for a great giftfor someone just starting out cooking Lebanese food. I got this for my daughter soshe can make simple Lebanese meals.

I got the kit specifically for 2 Middle-eastern spice (za'atar and Sumac) that I cannot find in local stores. It is great to have more of the commoner spices (parsely, cumin, cinnamon), and the little recipe book has easy-to-follow instructions for what to do with them. I recommend this kit.

I used it almost immediately and it met my needs very well. Duplicated some spices I already have, but since they are ones I use often, I don't mind. The Baharat was delicious and greatly improved a store bought chicken salad.
