Really good helmet it’s worth the money it didn’t fit very good because it’s large but it’s good for display

I was not expecting this to be as good as it was. It came in with some oil on it but that is fine, you need it because its metal. It was nice a clean with no marks or damage, super happy about that. And it has leather on the inside that makes it better to put on. Its a bit big but again not a surprise.

This whole piece is what I would call mediocre, but I am still happy I got it. It looks very neat. I'll start off in regards to craftsmanship. It is a bit flimsy as the ridge of the top goes in a wavy line and downwards. It manages to capture a similar shape to what you see in the advertisement so in regards to faithfulness its great. There are some cracks here and there, but I can't say I am gonna complain. The tiny cracks, uneven bumps and slightly sharp edges are a bit much given it came just out of the box. However, it does add to the feeling of wear and tear of a warrior on the road. I'm giving the craftsmanship a 4 out 5 stars. Sturdiness concerns me a little bit because of the state and how cracked it was already out of the box. I'd recommend not doing any rough activities with this helmet, it will likely keep getting banged up. This is NOT made for armed combat. 3 out of 5, studiness is simply too weak outside of looking nice. Durability is the third bit. Same story, I find the durability of the parts to be a concern as the chains on the sides and the straps inside the helmet to be glued to the walls of the helmet. This is bound to eventually peel itself off, and I would imagine it won't last for too long in active use. All in all, this isn't too bad though. For the price I think this is just fine. It'll last how long it lasts. I'm giving the durability a 2 out of 5 for the relatively poor condition it had out of the box. Comfort is the very last point I am gonna make. The comfort is decent as it fit over my head with ease, I have a good field of vision and I do not have problem breathing. The tip of my nose rubs lightly against the inside of the visor. If you have a relatively large nose this might prove to be a large problem for you. It rests well on the head and I don't feel like it wobbles that much if any. I'm gonna give this a solid 4 out of 5. This is a good helmet for reenactors who won't engage in fighting or any physical activities. If you are, I would look for a more serious sellers or producer. If you are the type who just wants a cool thing to wear on your noggin' while sitting in your room, get this. If you want something neat to decorate the shelves with, get this. Overall, I'm gonna rate this helmet a 4 out of 5. I am satisfied and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a somewhat cheap product with a fast delivery.

I've worn this helmet to my last few belegarth matches and it looks good, protects the head, and doesn't limit visibility too much. Overall it's a great product!

This helmet is really well made, which is why I give it 3 stars, but it showed up with a bunch of pretty big rust spots and that’s why . The size is great, I have a larger head and it fits really well. It’s also very lightweight, but sturdy.

Overall the helmet is great but be ready to clean off a ton of oil! I then used a pain thinner and removed whatever the heck they lined the inside with. Once I had it down to bare metal I taped off the outside and spray painted the inside black. My boy loves it so it was worth the effort.

I bought this for my 10 year old. Fits a little big because it's for an adult, but I knew that going in. Seems to be well made. My son loves it! Does have oil on it, takes a bit to get it all cleaned up, but nothing to annoying.

It comes a bit close to the face, does not have quick detach face piece (which was the standard for barbutes historically) and comes a bit too far down on the back of the neck. So, if you are buying this as a ready to comfortably wear piece, this might not be your helmet, move on to something a bit more expensive. However, I bought this understanding I was going to be modifying it, and for that it is fantastic. Also, a note for the strength of it, it took me about 10 minutes of whacking with a 2 pound hammer to bend the front of the facemask out to a decent degree (will be doing more to get more of the shape I want, also to smooth it out). So, it will be respectably acceptable as an actual helmet. But yeah, I will be modifying the heck out of this helmet, using hammers, cutting wheels, grinding wheels, flap disks, and perhaps even some welding. All in all, modding this might even be more fun than wearing this to things like ren faire.

Very well made and reasonably priced. Looks just like in the picture. Just buy it if you are looking for a medieval Barbuta helmet. Highly recommended!

I bought the Nagina International Medieval Barbuta Visored Brushed Steel Knights Templar Crusaders Armour Helmet since a have a solid interest in medieval history. I was delighted to receive the item, but on close inspection, I noticed that there were a few surface scratches on the side and above the visor. I contacted Nagina about this. Their response was immediate and thoroughly professional. They dealt with the issue in no time at all and were extremely courteous. It was a relief to not have to jump through hoops to get a resolution. I love the helmet, but I think that Nagina needs to be a little careful on those final touches. All-in-all, a great product. I very much recommend this company, and I will use them again on the near future.

Totally awesome, only wish the would ship foam inserts to make it fit better. But if you're wearing a mail coif, it's no issue
