Comfortable, low-cut and warm
I wear a women's 8.5 in most shoes and bought these socks in medium. They're a great fit and seem to have made it through 4 washings so far without any undue shrinkage or weird felting (I never know for sure what wool is going to do in the wash). I can now comfortably wear some trail running shoes that rubbed my ankles raw in other low-cut socks. I usually don't wear socks with anything other than running shoes, but in cooler weather it's unavoidable in my lowtop Chuck Taylors, and these keep me get warm while staying pretty low profile. They're not invisible, but if I wear socks any lower cut my shoes just eat them, so I'm pretty happy with these.

I have sweaty, blister prone feet and have found that wool blend socks are best for absorbing moisture and keeping it away from my skin. I got a three pack of these to wear on a trip where lots of walking was anticipated, and the weather warm and humid. First, I was really surprised to see that there is a left and right sock in each pair, meaning that each sock is shaped specifically for that foot, which is really cool. They conform perfectly and feel like they were custom made. Next, after wearing all day, I completely forgot I had them on; there was no slipping and sliding, no bagging out, no weird seam irritating my toes. When I took my shoes off, the socks were dry, had no stink, and didn't look at all stretched out. I took them off and they didn't even look like they'd been worn. I could have very easily worn them again the next day. The one thing I found a bit odd initially is that they were a bit high on the ankle but realized once I wore them with a true running shoe that this design protects the skin of the ankle from making contact with any part of the shoe, AND keeps the socks from slipping down, so the design is awesome. I will for sure be buying more of these and will be ditching my cheap cotton socks.

Durability TBA, Design and Performance are good.
Just purchased and have only put about 10 miles walking in a pair. (The last pic shows some resulting pilling on the heel). These socks are thinner than I’d expected (thinner than ultralight SmartWool socks I’ve purchased in the past). This raised some concern for me about their durability, but I own a thin pair of “Darn Tough” merino wool socks that are as good as new after 5 years and they’ve convinced me that thickness and durability aren’t always as connected as one might think.Out of the packaging it’s clear that the socks are designed well. Nowhere on the packaging is there a listing of the sock materials, but the website description of roughly 60% wool seems accurate to me.My feet felt great while my son and I were walking to prepare for an upcoming fundraiser hikeathon. Ultimately durability will be what helps me to determine whether the star rating goes up or down. In order to justify $9 per pair, I’m going to need them to perform well and last. They’ve crossed the first hurdle so far. I’ll check back in and update regarding durability.

Good quality sock
A few other ankle-high socks I've tried failed and would end up scrunched-up inside my shoe. These socks NEVER do that, which is good. Also, these socks are merino wool-blend. A couple of years ago, I started to appreciate the benefits of quality merino-blend socks and have been gradually converting to wearing them almost exclusively. They wick moisture and keep your feet mostly dry. More importantly, they don't stink! And in my running shoes that I now wear exclusively with these socks i find the shoes never stink, either. The only small downsides are: a) they are a bit expensive. b) they are a slightly harder to put on than regular socks - I've found that you should essentially put the front of the sock on the front of your foot *first*, then pull the heel on. If instead you try to just pull from the heel to insert the front of your foot, the sock gets stretched out resulting in the heel being pulled out of position. These shortcomings are minor and I really like these socks for running and casual wear when I want a low-cut sock.

Great wool socks!
I love merino wool for how well it wicks and dries. I've gone too long without lightweight wool for warmer months and when I head to the gym, and finally decided to take a chance on these. I'm glad I did! Fit is accurate (perhaps a tad bit small if your feet run on the top end of the size range listed), but not a problem for me with a L size sock (I'm typically a 10.5 men's size shoe). After washing, you'll think "there's no way these things will actually fit my feet," but I assure you, they will! Once you get your foot in them and get the sock stretched to your foot shape, they are a great fit! They are comfortable to wear all day, and even a couple days in a row. My feet stay dry, no matter what activity I'm doing. Note that these *are* considered "ultra-light" and they may seem too thin to some people. I think the description is accurate, so just understand the type of sock you are ordering and you won't be disappointed! Some other reviews have mentioned that the socks are "hard" or "crunchy"- this is just a byproduct of the material and the fact that these socks are incredibly lightweight. They aren't meant to be fuzzy winter boot socks. They are a great alternative to "other" thin athletic socks that don't dry your feet nearly as well, but definitely not meant to be a plush, cold-weather sock.

Great Socks!
I'm using the longer version with my lace-up Redwing work boots. They are the perfect length to sit just above the top of the boots. We walk miles along railroad tracks in all conditions. These socks are holding up great. They look nice and I'm comfortable every single day. Haven't had any foot odor or sweat issues but that really wasn't a problem before. I like the Gray/Light Gray/Orange color combo.

Stiff, but Still my Favorite
I took these socks on a month-long backpacking trip, and they held up great. I didn't use foot powder but I still didn't experience a "swamp foot" feeling even when walking 10 miles a day in the heat. There's a rubber backing that helps them stay secure onto your feet, which I love. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that even after following the care instructions, they feel... stiff? No pilling or color fading, but just not *quite* as comfortable. They're still my favorite socks.

Recibí el producto equivocado pero es de buena calidad
El pedido tardó mucho en llegar y recibí el color y modelo equivocados, los regalé a mi novia y le gustaron mucho pero creo que es mal servicio para unos calcetines tan caros.
