Business Calculus Demystified

I got this to help me through a very badly-instructed Internet business calculus course for college requirement. My course was basically a shortened version of this book. I doubt that I would have gotten such a good grade without this book. It is not perfect and there were still some spots that I got stuck on for a bit..but overall this was a very helpful book. Between this book and some youtube tutorials I probably didn't need to take the course to learn business calculus.

This got me prepared to take Business Calculus at my university. I hadn’t taken any math since algebra 1 in high school... over 6 years ago. This book along with Khan Academy, got me refreshed on key algebra term in order to have success in Business Calculus.

Had a hard time understanding the concepts; had to review several times to understand, but loved the examples and answers they are great study tools and supplements to the business Calculus class.

This book can be very helpful by giving step by step information on questions, however, some of the answers to the questions in the "chapter reviews" are incorrect. The chapter will a certain approach to finding the solution, but as you get to the chapter review, it gives a different answer. Too many errors in this book.

I was taking business calculus and had a difficult time grasping it. I also had a difficult time and getting someone to help me with it because it is a business based calculus, the tutors who new calculus did not quite understand the business applications of it. This book pretty much went in the same order as my text book did but explained it much better. Definately would recomend to those who must take business calculus.

I had to take a business calculus course and the required book was really confusing. DeMystified takes you step by step through each type of operation and explains exactly why it is done. I relied on it more than my required book. My teacher laughed at the book and said I shouldn't need it, but because of it, I got an A in the course.

This book helped me understand the basics of business calculus, and why they are important. It was very good at showing all the steps with examples.

This book was dumbed down almost too much. Good for basic concepts, not for serious math.

Used this to brush up on my Calculus during the covid 19 lockdown. It takes time to learn calculus but i feel like a genius after a few chapters of learning. Recommend the book 100%

Having a passion for maths and running my own business, I thought the two should be combined. I was right and this book underlined the need. The process is subtle, so take it slow. Brilliant!!!!!!
