Noted author, Steven K. Scott, published this powerful resource material in 2008. Within its 489 pages there are over 1,900 statements made over two centuries ago by Jesus Christ. Yes, I know His words are in the New Testament, often printed with red lettering, and yes, many Bibles have a concordance (and many are published with letters so small and light you can't read them too) however....I found this book of statements by topic to be a companion to the Bible, for those who practice Christianity as well as an inspiration and educational book for those of any faith. Rich, poor, young, old, - who would not be interested in what Jesus Christ taught during his three years of ministry on earth. After all, as we read in "One Solitary Life," -- "all the armies that ever marched, all the navies that ever sailed, all the parliaments that ever reigned have not affected the life on this earth as that...one solitary life" Think about it! The statements are written (NIV version) under 200 topics which include what He said about Himself and His identity and mission; about how to have success in your life, including compassion, forgiveness, love; about God reaching out to humanity, including grace, prophecy, freedom, conflict, forgiveness; and about eternity, including angels, rewards, etc. Name your problem or area of interest and there is an answer. You can locate His wisdom quickly and easily in this unique guidebook. I recommend this book "The Greatest Words Ever Spoken, Everything Jesus Said About You, Your Life, and Everything Else" because the teachings of Jesus Christ provide direction to meet every need and you can enjoy them all without explanation or interruption - just turn to a topic and be surprised! Be inspired! He has a message that will fill a void in your life and make it complete.

What an outstanding book, I wish to applaud Mr. Scott! It took a herculean effort to coallate, index by subject and put this book together, it must have been a labor of love_it shows it. I really am so thankful to have all the words of Jesus in this format. It is extremely well done and illustrates with brilliance the timeless words of Jesus. Brilliantly set up so you understand the context and indexed so you can research by topic, there has never been a time of more importance or relevance for this book. It is an excellent reference book and for my friends and family that are not believers and those of my contemporaries and family members who shy away from the "Word of God" and think themselves intellectually superior, I challenge you to read this book, first, then render your judgments. This is not about religion, it's about history and a personal knowledge, understanding and truth. If that is what you truly are pursuing in your life, (knowledge, understanding, wisdom and truth) then you owe it to yourself to invest the time to read this book and come to your own conclusion. Excellent read, I am very grateful he took the time to complete this project, in my opinion, it's a must read. I am buying multiple additional copies to give away.

How do I begin to "review" a book essentially written by Jesus?! I bought this book because I read about the layout, looked at some sample pages and recognized that it would be wonderful to have everything Jesus said on a topic in an easy-to-find place. I read it in addition to my Bible and devotionals and find it very comforting & helpful to see all the verses, across various books of the Bible, on specific things. The author did a marvelous job creating this resource :)

The Pg. 249 was completely covered across with ink from the printing press. So, I did return it. It's probably an interesting book for Bible beginners, but just reading what Jesus "said" doesn't always indicate the "back story" of what he really meant, or the underlying meanings. For that, you really do have to read the "WHOLE BIBLE" and put in a considerable amount of thought and time into that. It's like trying to figure out what the whole conversation is about by just passing a group of people who have developed a deep conversation by just hearing a few words in a that group. I honestly think some people can benefit and be encouraged to look into things more deeply. I did not find it easy to locate "subject matter" by word... that would be better done by alphabetical index. It's an admirable accomplishment, however, to try and group by category. I just personally found that the way things are arranged in this book is more time consuming than to just go to an Bible App and "search" for a remembered scripture or group of words. But again, that would require first having read them in the actual Bible at some point. Just my personal opinion. I do recommend it for beginners though, in hopes they will be encouraged to check further into the subjects they are interested in.

This is a must-have book. There are a few things though you need to know about the book before you get it and they are...Steven K. Scott includes his own commentary and concepts like "walking in the spirit," and many other teachings throughout the book which draw heavily on Paul's letters. By framing the Word through that lens, he effectively uses Paul’s theology to interpret what Jesus said, often giving the impression that those later writings are necessary to complete the message. ... We just have to remember that Paul has five plus different conversion stories Acts9 22 26 Gal1 1Cor9 and Paul couldn't get the resurrection right he said that Jesus appeared to Peter first the eyewitnesses say that Jesus appeared to the two Mary's first. And of course Jesus said no personal visits especially to someone who would say that they met me in the desert or the inner rooms both places Paul said he met Jesus...Mt24:25-27. Rev1:7 2:2. Jn5:43.

Amazing book of Jesus’ teachings organized really well. All of the verses are listed so you can go to the bible for more context. Has allowed me to get to know Jesus a lot better. Highly recommended.

Fabulous, a very handy tool to use when you want to know what Jesus said, it answers pretty much any questions you can think of & it's just the words of Jesus spoken on earth. Love the way it has been organised into sections tackling every day questions & issues. A must for any follower of Jesus Christ.

Fantastic book, encouraging and based completely on the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ. I have found that it helps me to read more specifically and I understand Scriptures that before we're not so clear. I would encourage everyone to buy and use this book. I thank God for His Words and His Love to us.

The Greatest Words Ever Spoken has power to become a life transforming book. The words that Jesus spoke were completely transforming to so many people. For example it's very interesting to see exactly what Jesus said about how to start a relationship with God or obtain a deeper relationship with Him. Or, you can research what Jesus said about Heaven, the Holy Spirit, Angels, Satan and so much more. The book compliments the bible so great to study and to learn. The book is suitable for any age, wake up, pray and walk with God.
