This is a really secure and well made bike lock. It's probably too much lock for my bike but I wanted to be sure it wasn't stolen. This lock does the trick. It's very heavy and well-crafted. I would recommend it.

We use this lock with a chain to lock our bikes to the car. The shackle is just the right size to slip through the 9mm chain links. The shackle is wide enough to fit around the bar on our car, or it can hook to the trailer hitch. It is easy to lock and unlock. I wish that it has more than two keys as I have seen similar locks with 3 or 4 keys. The lock seems to be quite sturdy. Hopefully it will never be cut, but only time will tell.

Great product for the price. It's very sturdy and I don't have to fight with locking and unlocking.

As the title says, this is a nice heavy duty compact bike lock. It's relatively small but weighty. It's adequately thick and appears durable. The advantage of a smaller lock is it's more difficult to pry open. There's less space to work with. However it does limit where you can lock your bike. You'll need to get close to the bike stand or hand rail. And the pole can't be too thick.One issue with this lock is the mount. The design forces you to mount it on the side of the bike frame, not at the center. But concerns about banging against the lock while peddling were put to rest when I tested it out. Fortunately there's little to no interference with the peddling. The design does force you to mount the lock on the left side, not the right, where it would make the most sense because there's already stuff there, like the gears and chain, that your leg needs to get out of the way of. But like I said, there's still little or no interference with the peddling.Overall it's a nice looking and apparently secure bike lock. I should also mention there's no silly name or logo on it either. This is another bonus.

I tried to saw through mine and nothing is getting through. It just ripped the outer layer but it’s not touching the metal. It is a little heavy when I carry in my back pack but I love the security and lock functionality. It makes me feel my bike isn’t going anywhere. I also noticed it’s sun resistant because it didn’t burn my hands when in direct sunlight. It’s warm but not hot to touch.

Very sturdy and no issues with them when they get wet. And I can connect them to my bikes frame when traveling.

The lock itself takes a great beating and stays strong and functional. The cable however is easily snipped by wire cutters and doesn't offer any real protection against prepared bike thieves. ask me how I know.
