Moto Z4 with Instaprint Mod | Unlocked | Made for US by Motorola | 4/128GB | 48MP Camera | Gray

I previously used the Moto z3 and really enjoyed it, mostly for the projector moto mod. This phone has been great so far!I typically have a case and tempered glass protector on my phones, but for this one I specifically bought an Otterbox case in light of how many reviews mentioned the screen is more shatter prone than in previous models. The phone has taken a few tumbles and so far so good.Mine was used and yet it looked brand new, so it was in excellent condition. I'm happy with the phone and recommend it!

My husband broke his phone so we ordered this to replace it! It came the next day. Works perfectly!The Polaroid camera is okay, the quality isn't amazing the pictures come out with a bit of weird color.

I was looking for a phone with 128 Gigs to replace my almost new Moto G7 which I am leaving to give to my wife, but even though this only has the mid range processor it feels fast enough for my needs, I am not a person that likes playing games on a phone I like the screen too and is bright enough for me, the fingerprint reader is a bit tricky to use but it's ok and the fact that it had the polaroid insta share printer include for free convinced me to buy it and it was worth the $399 price tag. I am very happy with the purchase.

Update : so the screen isn't durable at all lol, I lightly dropped it and it completely shattered, had to spend another $300 for Motorola to send me a replacement because they couldn't repair it. I recommend getting the "LK" brand screen protectors, they have always saved my phone's screens. I accidentally ordered a different brand of protector and they did not save my phone whatsoever, even from scratches.Will NOT work on U.S cellular network, I had to switch to Verizon just so I could use this phone. Us cellular carriers every other Motorola but not this specific model for some reason but I've been wanting this phone since it came out. It is gsm/cdma unlocked just us cellular doesn't support it. So there's a small crack on the bottom of the Moto mod connector on the back so that's the only reason I'm giving a 4 star review. Doesn't effect anything on the phone as far as I can tell. I haven't used the insta printer on this phone but I did use it on my Moto z2 force and it was awesome! I love that, came with paper and no need for any ink so that's a huge plus. Uses the same charger for the phone. I ordered from seller on Amazon for a little cheaper and it's like brand new, no scratches or dings other than the small crack I mentioned. I loved my camera on the Moto z2 and didn't think this would top it but it DID. I'm beyond impressed. I love Motorola Z phones, I love the chopping motion for flash light and twist motion for camera/selfie camera, very convenient. The battery life has been amazing even through the 5 updates it needed. Have only charged once in 3 days. I would suggest getting screen protectors and a case for the phone obviously. Motorola customer service is trash but their Z gen phones are A1. I had a Moto g and a g7 power and within less than a week the g7 power stopped working for no reason, but I had accidentally set my vape on the screen and put a very slight scratch on the screen, when I sent for repair for faulty device they said the crack didn't matter but when they received it they wanted to charge me more than the phone cost to replace the screen in order to send me a replacement phone since they couldn't figure out why it stopped working. Doesn't make much sense to me but their product was faulty and I should have gotten a new phone but they suck so if you have any issues expect to pay Motorola a minimum of $150. Fortunately I've never had an issue with my Z2 and I don't expect to have any with this phone either. Sorry for my long rant but I really do love this phone. It's everything I could truly ask for in a device. The fingerprint scanner kind of sucks, I programmed it after I put a screen protector on because the phone suggested I did that but it's still hit or miss. I like the face recognition to unlock the phone alot that's a nice feature. Screen display in the sun is better than the Z2 and there's just all around more feature than the Z2. Highly recommend.

Love the phone, long battery life, charges fast . Fingerprint security works like a charm . Plenty of room for files and takes pictures like a dream .

I love this phone, it has so much storage, great sound, camera, and with the added ability to ad mods like the game pad, projector and many others. I plan on keeping this phone for as long as possible.

Updating August 2020: My Moto Z4 fell less than 3 feet (seriously, I am 4'11", and was holding it below my waist) onto my laminated wood veneer floor (so it's not like it was a particularly hard surface) and is no longer functional. For a phone that is designed specifically for not using a case (can't use mods with a case), this version is not robust at all. By comparison, the Moto Z Force I bought from Verizon in 2016 and my husband's Moto Z2 Play purchased 2 years ago are still truckin' along fine.Previous review March 2020:I've owned some version of Moto Z for several years, starting with a Z Force that I was nuts enough to buy full price from Verizon with full-price mods. I've wised up since then and purchased new unlocked models through other places since then for much much less. When I dropped my Z Play 2 in water, It still mostly worked except the fingerprint reader, but I was concerned about being able to attend teleconferences, so I needed a new phone fast and Amazon was able to deliver my Z4 the same day! Furthermore, the package with the Polaroid printer is available on Amazon, whereas it's sold out on the Motorola website.This model is slightly longer and maybe ever-so-slightly wider than older models, but weighs less than my 1st-gen model and weighs about the same as 2nd and 3rd-gen models. It comes with a standard headphone jack (YAY!!!) instead of requiring an annoying converter that I'd always lose on my first Moto.This is a very nice phone with tons of memory (128g!) which can yet be expanded by adding your choice of SD card (which are getting cheaper every day). Setup was a breeze with Google backup.Battery life is great. I purchased a new battery mod to make it even better. Battery mod is the #1 reason I love the Moto Z line. Being able to snap a new battery on and double the battery life is awesome. For some reason, no new battery mods are being produced for Qi wireless charging, which is a shame.I tried my old 1st-gen Kate Spade battery mod and it didn't seem to make a good connection with the Z4 even though all phones are supposed to be backwards-compatible with all mods. Since it kinda sat off the phone a bit, I just didn't feel comfortable hooking it up with ye olde Verizon Qi wireless charger, thus the purchase of the newer battery mod (which BTW is sold out on the Motorola site as well, but was still available on Amazon).I have a 1st-gen JBL Soundboost mod and a style shell mod which also sat off the phone a bit like the Kate Spade mod, but worked fine nonetheless.I don't like the fingerprint recognition in this model as much as prior models that had dedicated fingerprint readers. It's slower and not quite as easy to unlock my phone sometimes. Otherwise, though it's a great phone.
