Does not take a Rocket Scientist to build a model rocket, however
Nice model kit at a fraction of the price of other space model kits, although not quite as detailed (so that's the trade-off). Some of the reviewers mentioned the poor picture assembly instructions (no step by step written words to coincide with the pictures). Since you're assembling three-dimensional models, and the picture instruction of those models are in two- dimension, the Lunar Module may require a little extra patience. Experienced model builders probably won't have a problem, their spatial conception/recognition solving ability being a lot better than mine. Looking at a picture of the completed assembled Lunar Module model helps. I updated my review by adding two photos. Note: The comic book in the background is not included, just part of my display (left in picture for size comparison reference, relative to Space kit puzzle/models).

Great Space Station Puzzle Set
I bought this space station toy set to give to my friend’s little boy as a gift. I decided to assemble the puzzle pieces myself so my friend’s son could just play with them as soon as I gave them to him. The Saturn V Rocket, the Astronaut, and the Command Module were pretty easy to put together because no glue was needed. But the Lunar Module was a little more difficult to build and I ended up using some Krazy Glue to properly assemble the landing struts.

It's alright, but didn't really know what I was expecting.
This product includes 4 models: an astronaut, a Saturn-V rocket, and the Apollo CSM and Moon Lander. Each of these models come in a bunch of pieces with slots to guide them, as well as an instruction sheets that have all 4 models on them. Some of the models have components that are already pre-built, for example, the bulk of the Apollo CSM (The gray thing) was already built. Each of the models come in a container that resembles the moon, half gray and half black. The biggest complaint were the instructions. Especially for the Moon Lander, they were very vague and didn't tell you exactly which parts were which or which orientation they should be at. This was a significant problem for the entire set. Thankfully, some of the slots on the parts are shaped specially so that only one specific part at a specific angle can be fit in to make sure it is accurate. The parts do fit together pretty well with some exceptions. The tubes on the astronaut, the legs and triangle-things on the Moon Lander, and the CSM's top capsule and docking port. Take caution when assembling these parts. For the Apollo CSM, you can use something like blu-tack to keep down the top module and docking port to ensure that they don't slip off. On the real thing, the top most capsule should actually be able to come off, but this was not until the very end of the mission and during all other times it is locked with the rest of the module. The CSM and moon lander also dock together, but again it is not a very secure fit and blu-tack will help to keep them together. The astronaut's arms can move up and down but that is it. The Saturn-V rocket doesn't really separate into stages. It is assembled in a way that the 3 stages (and also the top command module) are separate parts that all fit together, but there are no engines for the stages except for the first one, instead there are slots and protrusions used to help fit the model together. The Saturn-V is the only part of this set that I really don't have problems with. Just try to know what you're buying.

Lander or Kander?
The media could not be loaded. Lunar Lander or Kander? There’s most definitely a spelling misprint on the package. It begs the question if I was sold a factory reject of which I payed full price?Something is wrong.

Perfect for 8yr old!
This set was awesome! Much better quality than other similar items we have purchased in gift shops. My 8year old was able to assemble by hisself. Great for space obsessed kids!

My son liked it but the lunar module is very fragile
The media could not be loaded. My son was using the toys like miniature models he and I created the set he was acting like a Hollywood director to create the video

Fun, not-too-difficult puzzles
I bought this set to include in our Christmas Eve boxes, since there's four in my family. I put one of each in all of our boxes. The puzzles were challenging enough to keep the adults entertained, but easy enough for the kids to do as well. Each puzzle comes in a round capsule that looks like the moon. Some of the pieces were very small and delicate, but the plastic was sturdy, so even though they were tiny and thin nothing broke. The instructions were very difficult to understand, but fortunately we were able to put them together without the instructions anyway. Overall it was a fun diversion, and they look nice once they're put together as a set; my only real complaint is that they don't stand up independently, and the moon lander pieces keep falling out. This means it's not easy for the kids to play with afterwards, and my vaccuum gets a workout. Overall definitely a good value, and I would purchase another set ,like this!
