I was very disappointed in this Mahlepi brand. Aside from the package being so small the flavor and aroma was just not there. I used it to bake Greek bread and you could barely taste and smell it. That’s the reason I buy the whole Mahlepi seeds, so I can grind it when I need it, and it won’t lose its potency. At that price you would think that it would be the freshest and finest.

The flavor is OK, but the quantity for the amount of money is not worth it. It is better to buy the item from a specialty deli store.

I usually buy this at a Greek grocery store where it is fresh and much much cheaper. I ordered this because it was so easy and convenient to order from Amazon. I did not pay close enough attention to the amount. The bowl full of Mahler is misleading advertising. They sent a very small packet that was of inferior quality. I felt a responsibility to warn you.

A very steep price for such a small amount.Decent quality seeds but will be looking for alternatives

When this product arrived it was feesh, well packed and sealed. Highly recomend this vendor.
