A great solution for Ubuntu 20.04 wireless connection issues.
Got this for my Acer A515-43-R19L Ryzen 3 laptop. I dual boot Ubuntu 20.04 Linux and Windows 10 on separate internal SSDs, and was getting a lot of drops when using Ubuntu. However, on Win10 it worked great. My online queries led me to believe it was something to do with the OEM Atheros WiFi card not playing nice with Linux. Those same queries told me that the Intel drivers included in 20.04 were generally sound, and I thought I’d update from AC to the faster AX standard while I was at it, hence this purchase.Unlike some of the others here, I had no problem with what was sent me. I got the pictured box with antennae and leads included, even though I only needed/used the AX200 card. That said, while it immediately solved my Linux issues, I couldn’t initially connect with my mesh system on the Win10 side. I tried letting Windows Update ferret out better drivers, without success. I even downloaded the latest Win10 drivers direct from Intel. Still no luck. I finally went to Acer and downloaded the latest Intel WiFi drivers specifically for my laptop there, and voila, instant connection! In retrospect, the laptop manufacturer should have been my first stop for updated drivers.Interestingly enough, I had no such issues on the Bluetooth side, as Bluetooth worked fine right out of the box with both Ubuntu 20.04 and Win10.I gave this 5 stars because, once you have the right Win10 WiFi drivers installed, it’s a clean and fast WiFi solution. And, on the Ubuntu side, it worked great from the get go. All in all, I gotta say, this was a solid upgrade for my journeyman laptop.

True Plug-n-Play on my board, impressive performance
I purchased this to install in a custom Mini-ITX build I fit into an old Atari 2600 case. I was previously using an external USB 3 attached WiFi antenna from a quality, yet to remain unnamed tech company - it wasn't a cheap antenna. This build is intended as a living room media/retro gaming machine, so having the extra device sitting on the TV stand made for extra dusting and visual clutter.Purchased this model because it supports WiFi 6, and being from Intel it offered plug-and-play support for my motherboard's chipset. That was a good decision, as the motherboard picked up the new device and had it working through Win10 on the very first boot - no extra drivers, or any bios config (aside from making sure the M.2 E slot was turned on).I didn't use the included PCI slot antenna header, or the included antenna wands - since this is a custom build, I treated it like a laptop and purchased these cheap internal antenna pads: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08XN6WMXJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share They plugged right up to the card and got perfect reception immediately.Setup has been working flawlessly for almost a month now. WiFi connection is solid via my router's WiFi 6 connection - never any drops or freezes. Works great. Excellent little card from Intel - and at about the same price as the "cheap" white label manufacturers, it's a superb value.

Great Value
This kit is perfect for my new home-built desktop computer. Installing it was easy but, in my case, it was a bit tricky as the slot for the card is located on the back of the board. It was too close to the case back wall and I was afraid the little connectors were going to pop out. With a bit of patience, the install was without any issues. When I turned the computer on, I was getting ready to download drivers but, to my surprise, Windows 10 (now Windows 11) picked up the card without any issues whatsoever. My access point is mounted in a central location in my house, but the signal is strong and reliable. Speeds are about right for the card and access point/wireless controller. Bluetooth support is exceptional. I'm using the Your Phone app and, with my cell phone paired via Bluetooth, I can answer my calls through my computer. Audio is perfect! I'm using a USB Jabra headset and the audio is extremely clear.Overall, I am incredibly happy with this Intel kit! I will recommend this kit to anyone who needs exceptional wireless and Bluetooth support at a great price point!

Looks fake. Also, you don't get what's in the picture, no box.
The product didn't arrive in an intel box. It arrived in a 4x6 padded envelope. Literally the only thing inside was the wifi card itself, and the sticker on it was a bit faded in the lower right corner, so I don't even know if it's new. I installed the driver from the intel website, and the speed of it as reported by windows 10 64-bit is only 287mb. My router is a brand new wifi 6 router that I bought for my meta quest 2. My phone is also wifi 6 and shows a 6 when it's connected to my router. So my router is not the problem. I'll try some tshooting and see if I can get the speed up and will update my review soon.

Great card and 802.11AX works
I bought this card to swap out an Intel 8260 802.11AC card in a work laptop so I could test a very large 802.11AX enabled deployment at a new building my employer was standing up. If you are handy installation is not too hard but a lot depends on what laptop you are putting it in and how easy they made it to access the wireless card.In my case it wasn't too bad and getting the old one out was easy. The hardest thing was getting the little antenna connectors in the correct place and snapped in. A lighted magnifying glass would help a lot as the connectors are really small but the do "click" when they are correctly plugged in.You will need to look at the specs for your current wireless card and verify how their antenna cables are labeled and connected and match it to this on. In my case the two shared the same connector layout so it was easy.If you know how to replace a HD/SSD in a laptop then this should be doable for you with a little patience. If you don't immediately know how to do it you may be better off with a USB adapter.
