My baby struggles to latch on one side due to a collapsing nipple and I thought I’d never be able to breastfeed on that side. This thing saved my breastfeeding journey. I like the butterfly shape which sticks much better than the more rounded nipples shields offered by other brands, and I love that there are only 2 holes which helps with my fast letdown. One thing to note: make sure you put them on so that the flat side of the nipple is against your baby’s tongue otherwise they will have trouble latching. The direction you put them on will vary based on the breastfeeding hold you use.

My son was born three weeks early due to preeclampsia and had to be transferred to a NICU in a different hospital than I was admitted at. By the time we were reunited 72 hours later, he had already been introduced to bottles and was too small and weak to latch, despite my efforts. A as he got bigger, he began showing interest in latching again.After trying a few different nipple shields, the MAM were the first he tolerated! The slightly sticky side flaps help them stay in place during feeding—they only come off if he tugs on them. These shields have made such a difference, allowing us to breastfeed without frustration. I’m so thankful for the bonding experience they’ve helped us regain.

I have a breastfed baby but I had to introduce bottles early for her to go to daycare, sadly it has caused nipple confusion so she prefers that faster flow. The only bottles she will take are mam. These mam nipple covers have helped her with getting back into breastfeeding again.

Overall I think these are better than the medela ones. They stay on a lot better, and my baby has a really good latch with it. The only downside I have noticed is that my supply has decreased since using them for a week. I think the nipple part is much thicker compared to the medela, and is possibly decreasing the amount of stimulation. I will continue to alternate with the medela to hopefully get the best of both!

Really great shields. Provided me with a lot of relief especially because my child had a latching issue and was causing damage to my nipples. They’re thin and easy to wash. Stay in place. Really affordable too and worth it. I also liked the case because it allowed me to store them while not in use and ensured they’d be clean and ready.

Tried them but baby never got the hang of breastfeeding. Like the little carry case and the fact that you can fill with water and microwave to easily/quickly sterilize.

The hospital gave me some shields and I just never loved them they never stayed on I think they where to big. So I bought these and they fit great and baby latched so well with these.

Worked well while I needed it!
