Detailed
I love this book. It is up to date, full of facts. In fact, I learned more important and helpful details about my injury from this book than from the internet. Very informative. I would thoroughly reommend it.

Best quick-reference book on the subject - invaluable in my clinic
This is my primary go-to book for sports injuries. As a physical therapist I never know what I may be seeing in my clinic and this book covers the vast majority of sports injuries - it gives effective advice without getting too complicated, in a format that is easy to share with patients to help their understanding/recovery. Many other sports injuries books I find get too bogged down in science and technicalities - often unnecessary for what I am dealing with. For me, this book pretty much has it all. I also recommend the companion book to this one - 'The Anatomy of Stretching' by Brad Walker. They complement each other perfectly!
