Excellent quality for the price! WORKS FOR APPLE/MAC!!!
I'm an old school Mac guy, but avoid Apple peripherals (external hard drives, keyboards, wifi, etc) wherever possible. Not just because they're often insanely overpriced, but also because when Apple steps out of its core competency, quality takes a beating.Especially keyboards! Them puppies are as pretty as can be, but more fragile than D Trump's ego. One time a single drop of sweat rolled off my forehead and landed on my keyboard. The whole thing short circuited, sirens went off, and the ghost of Steve Jobs reached thru the screen and began rifling thru my pockets for $200 bucks.Anyway, this keyboard is great. The keys are light to the touch, responsive, do as told. I'm a fast typer, this keyboard does not slow me down. As a writer, I prefer keyboards/mice that plug in so that I don't lose momentum by being forced to go searching for batteries, right in the middle of a hot streak.Haven't tried the mouse yet, plan to keep it as a spare. This keyboard is not fancy, but it's cheap, works well, and does the trick. I also have the Logitech K120 and have been using it for years on another Mac with zero issues. The K120 is even cheaper, but it lacks the media buttons on top (volume up, volume down, etc). That's kind of annoying, hence the reason I bumped up to K200 this time.FOR APPLE USERS:Yes, the MK200 will work for you... even the volume buttons. When you plug it in the first time, a message will appear on the screen saying your computer needs some help recognizing it. All you have to do is press the buttons it asks you to press and then you can use it. Quick and easy!If you want the modifier buttons on the MK200 to work exactly as your old keyboard, you will have to swap the positions of the Command and Option keys.To do that:1. Open "System Preferences"2. Click "Keyboard"3. Click "Modifier Keys"4. Change (see attached screenshot):---- Option Key to Command---- Command Key to OptionAfter that, all your quick key shortcuts will work as they did on your Apple keyboard.Hope that helps!UPDATE: Today is August 12, 2020... almost 3 years to the day since I bought this keyboard. I returned to this page so that I could buy another one for a dif computer. Since I was here, I thought I should go ahead and update my review. The original keyboard? I'm *still* using it!

It's a bit expensive, but it does the job and it's of good quality.
It's a bit expensive, but it does the job. I also really like the buttons at the top of the keyboard; very convenient. It's not the best keyboard in the world, but it is good for everyday use. It's been working great for the past 4 months since I purchased it.It makes some noise, but the keys are high enough to my liking. I just like to be able to feel the key being pressed all the way down and not just use a keyboard that feels like a touch screen.I especially like the sleep button on the top of the keyboard. I just press it and the computer goes to sleep. It saves me a lot of time. The other buttons are useful as well. I also like the indicator lights of the Caps Lock, etc. Some keyboards did not have this while I was researching for a keyboard.I just wish it was a bit cheaper, that's why I give it 4.5 stars, but it's closer to the 5 stars otherwise.

Great keyboard and mouse for the $
Both keyboard and mouse work great! I love the mute, volume, and especially play/pause buttons laid out at the top of the keyboard. Very handy! Only ding would be that I wish it also had previous/next track buttons but definitely not complaining. Very ergonomic, easy to type layout and size on the keyboard. Mouse works great, as it should.

AFTER ONE YEAR OF USE
You know, I love the Logitech Keyboards. They are wonderful because of the way the keys respond and just comfort of the keyboard. Unfortunately, my keyboard began acting up this morning, and I couldn't type certain letters. If you typed o or k, nothing happened, and then others also. I plugged in an OLD keyboard that I had here in the shop, just to get me through the day, but I have been on HOLD for Logitech about an hour now, and still waiting. That is not good, but hopefully they will replace the keyboard. There is not information on Amazon that I can see the warranty on the wired keyboard and mouse combo.

Work great!
I had a set of wireless keyboard and mouse but for some reason with my computer they would lock up intermittently. I tried a second wireless keyboard and mouse with the same issue. I decided to at least see of a wired keyboard and mouse would show the same symptoms. No, they work great and the problem is solved. It's a bit strange getting used to a wired keyboard and mouse after years of going wireless but I'm glad I no longer have the problem.

Good basic keyboard - decent mouse
My old keyboard finally had enough crumbs and other stuff in it after 10+ years that it was time to retire it. I have three of the wireless version of this keyboard, but prefer a wired one for my stationary desktop PC. I picked this up, and haven't looked back. The typing is smooth, but not super clicky or loud. I wear hearing aids, so sometimes clicky keyboards can just be too much for me because the clicking gets amplified and is just too loud. This one is just right. The key travel is good for me - not too much, and not too little. The mouse is nothing special - it's a decent basic mouse with a wheel. The wheel click is a bit stiff for my taste, but I gave that to my kids to use on their chromebook. Very happy and love having the calculator button and volume controls right at my fingertips.
