Q: Is this the one advertised on tv with remote and hindged

No remote and stacked on, not hinged. However a beautiful tree!!

Q: When will this tree be back in stock?

I ordered mine when it said would let me know when it was back in stock and it arrived within a week!

Q: Can the lights be kept on still?

Yes, they can, 8 settings for the lights which are changed by pressing the button on the front of the plug/transformer, one of the settings is static.

Q: I have my tree lights on a timer. Is there any way of getting the lights to come on solid instead of having to go through 7 stages of flickering?

They should come on with the last setting you made.
