Mine haven't gotten dirty enough to worry about that. They get wet in the morning dew on the course with no problems. I wipe them off after each round of golf.

Bought a 9 for about a 9 or 9.5 foot and should have gone to 10.

Q: I do not want these shoes for golfing. Are they comfortable for casual use?

These are sold as golfing sandals, and they are great for that. I'm wearing mine other places as well! Honestly, these are so comfortable I do not want to take them off! While they are "spikekess", they do have the little nubs on the soles, but nothing that interferes with normal walking.
