I wear this for motorcycle riding during the winter down to +/- 20 degrees F. This one worked great. I have tried half a dozen balaclava brands. This one rates the best or second to best. Costco's are OK. Seirus has been the only brand to rival this one, but when you compare pricing, this one wins. They all cause eye protection to fog when you're not moving. The question is how easy is it to remove and replace at a red light? This one is easy. The material is thick so it's easy to pull down and pops back into place after pulling it back over your nose. Long story short, I like it and would buy it again.

This is perhaps one of the best balaclava masks around. It comes with three features in one. Protective neck piece, the face mask and the hood/ head piece.Outer material is a waterproof polyester. The inner feature of this mask is fleece for warmth. The mask is a perfect fit not too loose and not too tight, it will stay in place. It’s so comfortable that I can wear it for hours. I work in a freezer for 8 hours every day with an average temperature of -8°F and this mask keeps me warm the whole time. It is snug but not too snug yet not real loose either. In my opinion its a perfect fit. Easy to breath in, doesn't make you feel suffocated at all also you don't feel your hot breath being trapped in either. ( As a side note) - it doesn't build up that slight moisture patch on the inside from you breathing either like most masks do. If you have worn a mask in the cold you know what I'm talking about. Also I have 6 huge fans that are constantly blowing piercing cold air right at me while I'm working and everywhere the mask covers I feel absolutely no wind or coldness on my skin. Nice material, feels like cotton on the inside and neoprene on the outside, multi functional with wearing position and doesn't slide around. I have bought 13 different types of masks and this is the best one yet. By far the most recommended by me personaly.

We just went through 2 weeks of sub zero temps with crazy cold wind chill factors here in Maine.I am happy to report I still have ears and a nose using this as a base layer for headgear. It is warm and fits under my hats and helmets sealing out all of the wind penetration. With ski goggles your head is pretty much wind tight. Extreme low temps will require addition layers, but you can't go wrong with this base layer protection. It is a good value for the money.I will update this review if it proves not to be waterproof, but basicly, until spring, if it is warm enough to rain I won't need to wear it

My husband is in the army. He often goes to mountainous areas to train and the weather chaps his face and lips. His last trip it was horribly snowy and windy. He came home saying this hood "saved my life" lol. Hes happy with the quality. It kept him very warm, dry, and safe from the wind.

I was concerned about this product at first. My cranium size is about 23 7/8 inches and/or 60.6 centimeters in circumference. In other words, I have a really big head; about XL in size. Anyway, upon receiving this product, it fits ask expected. The material stretches, it is warm when riding my motorcycle and my face does not freeze anymore. I live in Oregon, and it gets about 20 degrees; colder when writing on the bike.

This face mask wasn't as advertised it did not have a fleece inner or outer lining as it said it did. When I put it on it didn't keep me warm at all so I ordered a different one as I returned this one sending it back. The current one I ordered is very warm and very comfortable and is fleeced and came as advertised.

Comfortable and kept me warm skiing today. The material is neoprenish ... it fit nicely under my helmet and the vent allowed air out and my face stayed warm only building up a small amount of condensation. Would not fit a kid or smaller adults well in my opinion. It was 18 F out as a high today!
