Cynology War Labs Hot Weather Half Vest K9 Harness (Coyote)

I love it, GSD pup loves it too. Got the coyote color, same color as my USMC issued gear. Adjusting it is a little difficult, guess its the thickness of the straps but whatever. My pup is about 67 lbs, 2 yrs old, and I can pick her up holding the end straps easily, not that she enjoys it though. Clips are pretty solid even though they are hard plastic. Love the Cobra buckles.I put on two 2qt canteens from a surplus store attached by alligator clips and and an "alligator clip to MOLLE" converter on there. Don't remember what the converter is called. Also put a 5.11 6 X 6 Pouch, Flat Dark Earth and 5.11 Tactical #58715 MED Pouch, Flat Dark Earth on it as well. Both are pictured in the attachments. Bought the BlackHawk #3 pouch speed clips to go with it...doesn't work. I think #4 will work but didn't bother to try since I have the set up pretty good. Only problem is alligator clips suck and sometimes let canteen drop lower.She carries this thing around no problem when completely filled. Med pouch has survival gear in it, other pouch holds a collapsable water bowl, leash, poop bags, and whatever else. Canteens always filled. Only problem she has is when one of the canteens is slightly less full than the other, vest slights one direction easily. She goes up and down hills, makes small/large jumps, and walks over any terrain (including walking tree logs when river crossing) no problems with this thing on. Easy to grab her if I need to and don't have a leash connected too.Dries fast, been in water a few times swimming and no problems so far. Had this about 4 months so far. No tears, smells, or color change. Haven't gone on an all day trip yet with it, but farthest distance we hiked was for 4-5 hours with no issues.

Outstanding vest! Absolutely love this... built well and comfortable in the Arizona heat for my girl. Once you have it adjusted, it goes on and off easily and the molle on the side make it easy to attach packs, bags, water etc. My girl carries her own water on our hikes. I have recommended this pack many times and will continue. I've had it over a year and it still looks brand new.

This harness is definitely well made and looks great but putting this on my 6 1/2 month old German Shepherd puppy over and over to get the sizing of the straps right was a nightmare since all she wanted to do was bite at it over and over preventing me from getting it on her. You might think that's an owner/dog problem and not the fault of the harness but I also have the Signature K9 Modular Extreme Duty Harness(found here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005CXIZ6Q?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00)It's a world of difference getting that harness on her compared to this one with its many straps and adjustments to make. Even when I got everything finally adjusted, it wasn't as bad but I like the Signature K9 Modular Extreme Duty Harness much better.I had in mind getting this harness from Cynology War Labs to take my dog hiking and utilizing the many molle strap positions on this but the Signature K9 Modular Extreme Duty Harness works just fine and even better if you don't plan on fastening several pouches, water bottles, a tent, etc. on your dog's back when you go out. Bottom line: unless you really require fastening several things on your dog's back this harness is just overkill and is better off on our war dogs overseas.

Great tac harness except the front strap rubbed his chest raw after just a 3 mile hike. Didn't even have them all synched up real tight. Need some kind of padding on it. Besides that I love the webbing and bungie cord on top

Outstanding item very well made and fits my Malinois perfectly. The harness was easy to adjust and now that I have it set for him it comes on and off very quickly. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to add a all around harness to their collection.

Great product. Initial fitting was a little tough, but once fitted, putting the vest on and taking it off is a breeze. well made with quality materials. i walk my lab mix in this every day and no issues with rubbing or discomfort.
