Stonewall Kitchen Maple Blueberry Syrup, 8.5 Ounce

I'm a big fan of Stonewall Kitchen products in general and I'm positively IN LOVE with this syrup! if you've ever had wild-grown Maine blueberries then you know the intense taste and vast difference from supermarket blueberries. 5 stars for quality and taste, 3 stars for value because for the small amount you get at this price, it's not something that we can afford to stock in the house all the time. I bought it for a special occasion, to serve with the Mother's Day brunch I cooked. my younger brother was was also there loved it so much that I thought he was going to drink it right from the bottle. of course, the next day I had a bottle sent to him as a gift. speaking of which, this syrup in a basket along with a few other brunch-y type products would make a great gift for any foodie, but an ESPECIALLY great gift for a lover of Maine blueberries. I served this with blueberry-stuffed French toast but i could see mixing this with balsamic vinegar as a fancy shmancy topping for salmon, or as the base of a glaze for roasted chicken/pork. all Stonewall products are great quality, I've never had a bad experience with anything bought on Amazon or their site. so, yeah it's expensive, but considering it's Maine deliciousness in a convenient bottle you can have any time, maybe it's very reasonably priced... buy it, use it, you'll love it.
