For my security job, I never leave the house without packing this essential item...lol...I can't carry weapons with my job, but it doesn't mean I can't carry items beyond ridiculous proportion and luminosity. I get compliments based on the size of this flashlight and the luminosity that's perfect for helping stranded motorists and getting help from other groups when necessary. It's been good at keeping skunks and other animals away, along with getting attention from people passed out in the middle of the night on private property. The only vice that I have with this item, it can chew up batteries like it was nothing and it can be expensive from my perspective to maintain ($20 for a battery charger, and I've already spent close to another $100 on rechargeable batteries; but the quality of those batteries can also be questioned if you're playing around with different brands or whatever brands that you can find to purchase).It generally takes slightly more power from the closest battery to the head (or the front battery, versus the rear battery), which would encourage you to 'rotate' the batteries to get equal usage from both batteries when they need to be recharged. I will also admit that if I wasn't using this flashlight as aggressively, then I would probably be using the micro usb port to charge the batteries. The battery indicator is good at reading power levels, getting quality rechargeable batteries for this flashlight is another thing...lol...All-in-all, I love this product...

Broken USB port right out of the box with random pieces jammed inside the packaging. Just another substandard low-quality knockoff product from China which seems to be where Amazon's primary business originates from these days. The amount of products I have to return is unreal. It's frustrating.Update: I stand by my original comment above. Just another low quality Chinese-made knockoff. The flashlight takes about 2 hours to charge and the batteries last maybe 10-15 minutes total before it needs to be recharged. Buy a brand name flashlight like Maglite.

This is one great light so far. Have not drained the battery so not sure how long the battery life is. I also have not dunked it underwater so don't know about it yet. I do have one big concern regarding use of the high beam for an extended period of time. Kinda scared me as they said it could overhead and burn something or someone and also drain the battery real fast. But since I know this I will limit the use of HIGH and make sure it does not get to low prior charge and never touch the bulb. It has one insulated battery that is rechargeable and another cylinder that you can have ready with fresh batteries that can be recharged if the batteries are that type. I love the bright, med bright, dim and SOS features.. I liked it so much I am going to try and buy another SET set like they were at Christmas (two for the price of one) If that's not possible then when you see them on sale next year stock up! The battery that came with the unit was not charged and would not charge with the USB cable provided. However, the 3.7v battery from my Falcon Tactical flashlight DOES work properly with this unit and the battery provided with this purchase DOES seem to be charging in my Falcon Tactical charger. THE UNIT COMES WITH ABSOLUTELY NO INSTRUCTIONS, etc. but it seems the indicator lights on the unit are accurate. I'm not sure it is as bright as promised, either, but don't know how to check that. I guess you get what you pay for, but be forewarned. Unknown water resistance quality at this time.

The product instruction insert (tiny-3"x3") has the worst "translation" I've seen in a long time. One has to read it several times to get an indication of just what the writer is trying to convey! My greatest concern is that the rubber cover over the USB port will not stay in place and has already fallen completely off. I fear it will soon be lost. I cannot rate battery life yet but I am impressed with the brightness.

We really like this flashlight. It is light weight as advertised, so it is easy to carry around. I love the brightness of the LED light. I live in the woods and not all flashlights are good enough to see into the dense trees at night. We have recharged it a couple of times and I like how fast it does that. We have only gotten it wet once so I gave it 4 stars because of that. I will be testing the water proof capabilities more this weekend

Thought I could keep it on my dresser and it would be ready to use. 6 was of no usage, pick it up and it's dead. Had to recharge. Dont know if you have to leave it plugged in to keep a charge.
