12V550 40000RPM

Compared to other 30000 rpm motors, these seem to be as fast, or a bit faster, but they are definitely quieter than everything else I have tried. Low end torque is low and two of these have a hard time getting going on an incline or on grass, but on asphalt or concrete they run great. They are better on grass than other gearbox and motor combos I have tried. I have a 15A breaker on each. 7A wasn't enough and the only other parts I had were 15A breakers.

Bought 2 of these motors to replace the worn-out (noisy) motors on a kids ride-on car. These motors turned out to be a bitter bigger and more substantial than the old ones, so I had to trim the car's inner body a little to fit them in. Once fitted I realised that the motors were also wider than the old ones, by about a cm and therefore the wheels wouldn’t fit. So, I had a new driveshaft rod made, 2cm longer. Once all assembled again, the motors worked brilliantly! Definitely more torque and the car drives faster than before. So very good motors. I can highly recommend them. Just make sure they will fit your car!

Good product for the price. And if you’re using the original battery, this may hold up for you. But it WILL NOT hold up to modifications. Luckily all we really needed was the gear box, as we stripped our factory gears. So it’s not that big of a deal. But, the motors on these drives WILL NOT handle the drill battery modification that most of us do to these cars for our kids. We smoked this motor in a matter of minutes. We just put the factory motor in this gear box and everything is running fine now.

Ran it for 15 minutes without a load to break it in. Popped it in the power wheel and my kid drove it around for 10-15 minutes before I heard him yelling “the Jeep is on fire….” It wasn’t on fire, but one of the new motors definitely gave up the ghost. The only thing I can figure is that the spade connections were really loose causing a bad connection and high amperage on the motor. If you are using these it would be a good idea to use the right size connection or solder them. The spade connection supplied with these were really loose on the motors’ connections. For the 10-15 minutes it did work they did have more low end torque than the original motor/gear combo. My kid was able to drive up a grassy hill without the speed control unit cutting out.

when i got the motor the plug was broken, not a big problem since its just two wires. but after connecting it motor it sometimes hesitates to go, after a few times hitting the gas pedal it finally starts going. over all good for the price, i ordered another one to see if maybe this one could have been damaged.

We got a hand me down Polaris peg perego quad for my daughter (about 6-7 years old). The motor was gone as well as the battery. We have a peg perego side by side so we used the 12v battery from that & this 12v motor & the quad is as good as new! Very pleased. Cost effective fix instead of buying a new battery operated quad.

Alright I'll be real, This package, with these 2 engines with gearboxes came Ridiculously FAST it came on Sunday guys!! Lol like. Anyway service was AAA+ Anyway, As my daughter has the Audi TT Quattro 1 seater. I thought it was a bit slow of the take off as it only has 2 - 12v 390 motors in it with, 12000 rpm gearboxes. I just got it and never tried it but I think this would really lag and burn the motors out in the grass.... So here we go, I SPENT A LONG TIME searching and figured I'd get somthing that didn't work, So I found these RS550 12 volt motors with 40000 RPM gearboxes. Lol ok alot of thinking and worry. I did it, as I said above. Now here we are and I got these so fast, and in they go, wow!!!! This was an and I quote an "EXACT!!" Fit I didnt do anything to modify, unreal. Altho this Audi had more space for an upgraded motor and kinda to be expected. Ok in they are, this car has absolutely zero lag now, even with almost more weight then my girl. And then once u get this puppy moving which touch it ur moving decent clip, nothing too bad. And then these motors start going faster and faster lol this is at 12 volts, now I was told 18 or 20 volts to these with the 550 motor they can handle twice the voltage, as there 20 to 45watts (I'm guessing 12v is 20 and 24 volts would be 45 watts. Now 2 of these and 24 volts, will be quite somthing, it's a HUGE difference now at the same voltage, I was even told these rs550 motors could handle 36 or even 48 volts DC, that I will not try, but more Volts is a yes for sure. Sorry long story, But these are a VERY well built unit, 3x as heavy and better built than the once that come in it, and the motors are very good quality, didnt get hot what so ever, powerful and pretty quiet. Shipping is Soooo fast, came on Sunday. And this was an exact swap out for bigger and stronger, faster engines, I'll add some pictures. Very highly recommended.

i like it but would have preferred to get it in 12V
