Perfect size to put kitty meds in when giving serveral at a time . Great value and quality

Super easy to pack and there isn’t a strong smell or taste like I was worried. It works well and I’ve yet to have anything spill out or have the pill crack yet.

Easy to use and true to size!

I purchased these specifically to put cardiac support and kidney support supplements for my geriatric cat. This size works fine for my cat but could be a bit large for cats who have difficulty swallowing. I have to tilt my cat's head back a bit, open his mouth and place the capsule way at the back of his tongue for him to swallow it. Otherwise he would refuse.The capsules themselves are easy to open and fairly easy to recap as long as you don't overfill them. I find that if you overstuff your capsules it's a bit harder to recap but it can still be done. Just remember the shorter part of the capsule goes over the longer one. I'm happy with these capsules but I took one star away because a few of the capsules were partially squashed - probably because they are placed in a plastic bag rather than a container.

The picture is exactly how the gel-caps are sent to you. Even though when I first looked at the packaging I really thought there were caps missing. So I did count them. They were all there.I got the gel-caps because my dog refused to take his meds. None and I really mean none of the pill packets, pill wraps and other tricks. I tried EVERYTHING! If my dog could tell at all he would spit out everything in his mouth.So, with the use of the gel-caps I could disguise the bitterness of the pill inside it. Yes, it adds time to giving your dog his meds, but at least after I had the pills inside the gel caps, I could just put them in his food and not worry.I will also suggest that depending on your reason for getting the gel caps-if you are using them for a person or pet that can’t handle the taste of the pill on their tongue for a second, this works. You may have to play around with the different sized gel caps.Please note the bigger the number is associated with the gel caps is the smaller the actual gelcap will be.I first started with a 00-way to big! My dog started finding the filled gelcap and only spitting that out.Although a great deal of effort was put into getting my little dog to take his meds it was really worth it. Original life expectancy when I agreed to hospice him-1week. But with him actually taking the actual meds he needs to survive with his heart problems-he has made it 17 months-so far. So the extra cost and time to get him to take his medicine with this products help has truly increased his life expectancy.

1st tried a much more expensive capsule which always fell apart in storage. The have a firm Snap from the designed in ridge connecting the halves. Vegan didnt matter to use just ordered 1 pack to try when ordering a Much more expensive brand and will purchase these only from now on. Excellent for oil. Can load 300 at a time and 3 months later ready to go with zero leaks or popped open capsules. Highly recomend.

Unfortunately more than half of the capsules were crushed beyond use. Did use the ones that were in good condition and they held well.
