Ships of Battlestar Galactica: The Encyclopedia of Battlestar Galactica Ships

I have been looking for this book for quite a while. I tried to buy it on the eaglemoss website but they went bankrupt. Tried to get it on ebay but it was pretty owned and too expensive and the postage and packing was too expensive. Later found out a company called Masters Replica was selling the bulk of eashlemoss stock but again the book was too dear and the delivery was 2 weeks. On a chance checked amazon and they had it in stock brand new and got it the following day.

Really good book, detailed info on a very wide range of BSG spaceships (admittedly not to Haynes Manual level of detail but then the book would have been a LOT bigger!!) last but by no means least the annoying BIG RED sticker is now on the plastic packaging not on the dust sleeve. Looks like EagleMoss has listened to the criticism re: Klingon book.

The book is of high quality but the content is kinda lackluster for most fans. For new fans will be interesting. The info inside and pics are very basic and nothing adds to the show if you've watched it. Still kinda nice to have in a book form.

I'm a big fan of the original series and even more so of the more recent series. This book has all the information on all the ships from both series. Quality made in hardback cover and nice sleeve. Definitely good quality and I would say a collectors item. Very happy with purchase.

very good book well illustrated. It covers both versions of battlestar galactica. I still think the original gallactica was the better looking ship the new one was a real let down the cylon ships were also better back in the 70,s They got it wright the first time. However the story line of the new version was way better.

Remember that rag tag fugitive fleet of gorgeous models, led by the incredible Galactica in the original series? Well, most of them are missing from this book. That just about sums up how I feel about it - the focus is far too heavily on the reboot and it's CG ships, with the originals overlooked to a great extent. Even with ships that appear (in name at least) in both versions, they tend to favour the reboot version. I was so excited about this book when it was listed for pre-order, and throughly disappointed by it when I got it.

I ordered this for my husband as he is a big fan of the TV series. He is very happy with this book so I think it must be a good one!

Book was well packed and arrived with no damage and also had the plastic wrap around it so seems like it hasn't even been open before

I have only just gotten interested in the new BSG. As a sci-fi fan I am always into new ships, worlds and especially the stories behind them. Battlestar Galactica ships is a great for anyone into the lore new or old. Great read and illustrations
