Catalina Pony Bottle Tanks, Yellow with Pro Valve

Well constructed tank with a nice finish and a quality valve. What more could you ask for. This is the 13 cuft pony bottle and I plan to use this one for emergency tire inflation and off/on the road puncture repair. My original tank from Catalina has already passed 3 hydro tests and is still fine with only inspections and o ring replacement 17 years later.

I bought this to use as a refill bottle for an air rifle. My local scuba shop was having trouble getting tanks in, so I ordered this from Amazon. Came really quick. Works well and fits the Benjamin scuba adapter. (Unfortunately the hose on the Benjamin adapter blew apart at 2800 psi, but that's another review).

Nice tank, but the hydro runs out in a little over a year. What a waste of money now that I'm going to have to get it re hydro'd so soon.

Good rack. Everything looks okay with it. However the manufacture date is February 2021. These are supposed to be tested every 5 or 6 years so I just lost almost a year and half on the file before I have to have it tested. Aggravating.

Great size tank, for a quick shallow dive to retrieve a dropped item, free a stuck anchor, or just a fast peek underwater.

Quality is excellent. The valve is a Sherwood. Good paint. Solid tank.

Valve is slightly dented - clearly sustained some trauma at some point. Cylinder is fine, but has NO VIP STICKER and NO NITROX STICKER. Thus, you will have to pay for a VIP right out of the gate. To be fair, the manufacturer's sticker does say that the cylinder is "cleaned for elevated O2 content", but that's not the same as a big green NITROX sticker that would be accepted by any filling station. I messaged LeisurePro about this, and they told me they don't supply stickers: too bad, so sad. So the product seems OK, but the merchant support is lacking.
