The silver money clip I have carried for more than 20 years broke last week. It was awful because I did not have hopes of liking a replacement easily, as this is a product that will likely be with me a very long time and hence, something I should be picky about. I ordered this one, along with another stainless steel clip. My old clip was almost as wide as this carbon fiber one, so I immediately liked the size of it. I wasn't sure if it was a quality product, simply because of how light and inexpensive it is. As it turns out, it seems to be a total quality and super-lightweight money clip. I can't believe how much lighter my money feels in my pocket compared to my old one. I feel like I have found a money clip that I am going to LOVE for years to come. If you are struggling with this silly purchase, stop it and buy this. You will be as surprised as I am at how nice it is.

I only owned 1 money clip (a free gift that came with an online order from a different vendor) before I bought this one. It was made of thin metal, and would bend outwards if I tried to shove too many bills into it. I would have to bend the clip back inwards in order for the clip to have enough tension to hold a smaller quantity of bills. The clip did work (and had a quartz analog watch on the other side), but it did leave something to be desired.This CARBONLIFE brand money clip leaves pretty much nothing to be desired. I don't know if it's actually carbon fiber, but I have no reason to believe that it isn't, either. It works great. It's absurdly lightweight, has an attractive grid appearance that changes with light, and costs almost nothing.But most importantly - I can literally shove in (and remove) a fold of 50 bills into the clip without *TOO* much difficulty, and without breaking or bending the clip. After removing that 50-bill fold, the the clip will revert back to its factory form, and still have enough tension to hold a single bill. I find that utterly impressive.I'm sure the clip WILL break (I've seen at least one review complaining of this clip breaking) if you apply *abuse*-level pressure on it, but so far I am pretty confident this will hold up pretty well in the long-term if you treat it reasonably and not like it's made from super-elastic rubber. How many of us actually carry 50+ bills anyway, right?I intend to order a whole bunch more of these for my own use, as well as gifts for others.

This clip has a quality matte finish with a diagonal checkered design. It has an efficient size and maintains the simplicity of having a money clip rather than a conventional wallet. The build is clean and sturdy, and the feel of the clip indicates premium material. This clip remains stylish while abstaining from being too flashy. If you are a simple man, are tired of bulky wallets protuding from your pockets, and are looking for a sturdy and classy money clip, I would highly recommend this. However, if you are looking for something with a bit more utility, I would consider other options prior to buying. This clip looks nice and does what it's supposed to do, but not much more than that. It holds your money together in your pocket in an extremely simplistic fashion, but it's not especially convenient. Don't get me wrong; I like the clip and I'm probably going to continue using it, but that's just because the design suits me and my personality well.4 Stars because aside from the design, it doesn't stand out enough for 5 stars, especially at $13.99. Ignore the reviews that this is fake, it is most definitely real carbon fiber. I went to an upscale mall looking for a carbon fiber or some other kind of sleek money clip, or minimalist front pocket wallet, and was willing to spend some money as I will hold onto these things for many year. prices ranged from $65-$300. Forget about the $300 Montblanc clip, it was beautiful but still a little bulkier than I wanted, and I’m not paying $300. I was most tempted to purchase an M clip, but frankly, the sliding openers add quite a bit of bulk to the clip, just not what I was looking for. There was a Tumi clip for $65, the dimensions were right but it was a little stodgy looking somehow, and I didn’t like the big logo on it. One nice thing about getting older is I’m able to better resist impulses, and was able to leave the mall empty-handed when I didn’t find the right choice. Spent a few minutes on Amazon, and found this clip, and not only was it a fraction of the price of any of the other clips, it is more comfortable, and quite likely more durable. Metal is just not as resilient as this material, and since my cash capacity can vary from flat broke to stripper on Sunday morning, that was a factor in my decision. The straight metal clips were all very tight to begin with, the m-clip was easiest to get money in but again, that’s at the cost of the most bulk. I Currently have four cards and 14 bills in this carbon fiber clip, and it’s not maxed out, snaps right back into shape. I’ll report back if my opinion changes but based on many of the other reviews i think that’s doubtful.

This money clip was exactly what i was looking for. It's lightweight, has i tight hold and is the perfect size for cash or cards. Fits well in any pocket.The carbon fibre material is nice looking and durable.Decently priced
