This is awesome, very well made and has a good loud ring. I mounted ours an the gate to the chicken yard and use it to call the girls and goats to feed. I ding the bell and they come running. They got out once and ringing the bell all my animals turned up sharpish looking for feed and I had them back in without troubleGreat gift

This bell has a nice finish to it and is pretty loud. Easy to install and well hult.

This dinner bell is authentic looking and sounds great. It has a perfect 'ding.' The bottom ridge is even and smooth and the color is as described. On the surface, it looks like metal with undertones of red and gold (just barely noticeable). It is a heavy piece, much like cast iron. The package arrived boxed and with 4 screws. Looking forward to adding this gem to the front porch of our farmhouse.

I was in a hurry and didnt notice - used.The box was all beat up and there were no screws. the bell itself didnt have noticeable damage. So, I got some new screws and put it on the front door. It looks ok & was the last one avail. I like the design.Oh-I dont know how sturdy it is as I just got it yesterday & put up today but it appears well made.I got tired of the electric doorbells only lasting a short time and then having to get batteries and chg them out...my fingers dont work as well as they used to. Im hoping this is useful and its cute.Too expensive for used tho. I'll Definitely double check every item now.

We use it as a motivational device in the office. It’s rung when someone is hired and shifts are filled. Fun stuff.

Feel in love with the scalloped bell, been looking for a dinner bell and this fit the bill and budget. The finish on the ball inside the bell is coming off only after ringing it a few times. The sound of the bell is very loud and makes my ears hurt after ringing it. So not exactly my dream dinner bell, but will work for now. At least it’s cute.

I purchased this bell so I could train my chickens to come back to the coop when I ring it. It is well built and was easy to mount to the side of my coop. It has a clear ring and the tone is what I would consider midrange...not high like a service bell nor low like a cow bell, but somewhere in the middle and not overly offensive to the ears. And it is working perfectly as a chicken call, so I would consider it money well spent.

We returned this item as it doesn't make a ding sound. OK if you want a decoration I guess. The bell also had a big chip out of it.
