Awesome towels and worth the price. I purchased these both to embroider and to use as dish towels. I promise that once you use these towels you won’t want to use any other type of dish towel. They look thin, right? They are but because they’re made of tightly woven 100% cotton and very generous in size you can dry glasses, dishes, pots and pans from a large load of dishes with 1 towel. These are the towels your great grammas used time and again for all kinds of chores for years. Reason: they did the job superbly because they’re sturdy, highly absorbent and seem to last forever Dry the inside of your drinking glasses; they’ll sparkle yep, but more importantly they’ll be lint free! I hate rinsing a glass for a guest and drying it only to find I have to rinse it again because of the lint Terry cloth towels can leave behind. I won’t talk about bamboo/ synthetic blends except to say that I might as well blow on the glasses to dry them before these type of towels will. These flour sack towels are off white in color, wash up extremely well in hot water with no shrinkage. These thirsty workhorses have a nice hanging tab on the back corner too. For hand embroidery they’re fantastic. I can pull thread through easily, the fabric is superb to work with and has a nice “hand” to it. I highly recommend them. They’re worth every cent you pay.

These colored flour sack towels are chef’s kiss YES, even in the bathroom. I use the black ones as hand towels and they’re holding it down in both looks and performance. The quality is super nice way sturdier and softer than I expected, and after multiple washes, the color is still deep, bold, and crisp. No fading, no unraveling, no weird shrinkage. They dry fast, don’t get funky, and actually add a cool, minimalist vibe to the bathroom. Who knew a humble flour sack towel could pull off that kind of glow-up? Definitely a 5-star staple in my house.

These tea towels are fantastic—nice and thick, with a cleverly placed open hanger in the corner. I originally purchased 12 of them in 2020, and I’m now back to buy more. They’ve held up wonderfully over time; I clean and dry everything with them in the kitchen. Though a few have suffered some rough treatment from my teenage kids and have serious holes and discolorations. They wash beautifully and still look great when hung over the handle of your dishwasher. I have them in dark grey, which is perfect—any stains are barely noticeable, and if needed, you can easily re-dye them. Highly recommend!

I purchased these to line large bowls for bread at a wedding reception. In addition to that, we used them to cover the bread and to protect clean surfaces when working with soup. These cloths seem to absorb moisture well and are a good size for what we needed, and the color looked good. They were wrinkled after I washed and dried them (as I would expect with 100% cotton), but the wrinkles steamed out easily. Update, 5 months later: These cloths are in constant use at home for bread coverings, vegetable-cutting work surfaces, and wiping cloths, and are holding up great. They are sturdy and absorbent, and aren't too wrinkled for everyday use with just normal washing and drying. I can't think of something not fuzzy as a "towel," but these cloths are so all-around useful in my house I won't quibble about names.

I really love these, but sometimes they’ll have a spot where another color of thread is woven into the white or natural towels. Probably doesn’t matter for everyday kitchen use, but I use these to embroider on for gifts, so if there’s a spot of color on a white towel in the wrong place, it can be quite noticeable. That probably only happens with one in a pack though, so not too bad. The towel quality is excellent, the heft is perfect, and these stitch up great. They’re not usually quite square after washing and drying though, so be sure to wash, dry, and try to get all the “shrinkage” out before using for sewing or embroidery. I’ve even used these to make pillow covers, when quilting cotton is too thin but decor canvas is too heavy. I’m buying extra this time to make zipper pouches out of. If you think in terms of using these as you would a fat quarter, the price is a good deal for some nice fabric that’s in between quilting cotton and decor fabric. These wash up so nicely and make very cozy pillows. I’m really very happy with these, but I do hope they pay more attention to quality control since they know so many of us use these for embroidery.

Love my 100% cotton covers/towels I use them to cover my bowl for my sourdough bread to proof.

Had to replace these because they where getting tattered, so I went back to Amazon to reorder and it had been 3 years since I bought the first set, so yes they are well worth the money for the quality!!

These are the best tea towels ever!! Nice and big, (33x38 inches), so you can hold a large plate with one end and dry it with the other. (I don’t have a dishwasher, I need good towels). Very absorbent. Beautifully finished edges. Have been looking for larger tea towels for years. Worth every penny!!

I bought these mainly for straining food. Good quality, wash well and do the job intended. I should get lots of years out of these.

If you are happy with creases in your towels because you dislike polyester, then you will like them.

I was pleasantly surprised at the finish. They are beautifully hemmed. Good price/value.

The flour sack cloths are too thin. Basically see through. Disappointing.
