I like that it is pet friendly and it was affordable and does a good job!

This stuff is great at melting ice and snow, immediately after I put it down. The only thing I've noticed that might be a negative is that in some places, it leaves a little bit of a residual spot on the concrete, almost like I've spilled something oily. It goes away after awhile, and can be rinsed, if it is bothersome to you. This is my second bag of it, and I'll be ordering more.

Some dogs have paws that are more sensitive than others and also just the cold affects their paws. This product works well but store it in a tightly sealed container. Yes, it does harden and you have to chip away at it, but not hard to do and the product still works and is effective. Company is very helpful and responsible and there to answer any questions you might have.

This stuff definitely melted the ice and my German Shepherd didn't complain, so that was appreciated. However, what's left behind is somewhat of a gooey/greasy mess that gets tracked around. I'm having to use soap and water on my front porch to get it off.

You may find less expensive products, and these melt ice on c o l d winter nights and we don't mind our dog walking over it. Good stuff.

Works well

I am always looking for pet safe options and was so excited when I found this product. It works fast to melt ice but doesn't stick around very long so you have to put down a second layer if it starts snowing again.
