Look, I don’t know why some of the other reviews claim these American Apparel 50/50 shirts either aren’t the real thing or aren’t the same original quality. I’ve been wearing American Apparel clothing for over 13yrs and these shirts are 100% legit/authentic and are absolutely the same soft, comfortable, long lasting high quality t-shirts....period. I’ve purchased 4 different colors so far and have been beyond stoked. I am 6ft 205lbs with athletic build and purchased these shirts in an XL and they fit perfect. Machine wash cold and dry on delicate/wool/super low and they will last forever.

I really like the quality and fit of these shirts. For me this is premium quality at a very reasonable price. The fit is really great and they seem to resist shrinking in the wash. Very versatile, as they look good by themselves and fit well under sweatshirts or long sleeve tee shirts. Very comfortable and soft.

Ive tried a lot of cheaper shirts over the last 3 years looking for the right everyday inexpensive shirt. This has become my favorite. I am 6 foot 182 pounds athletic body and the large is perfect. A little more slim which is preferred for me but still room since its a large. Length and sleeve length perfect in between size. I think this cut is really good overall. Plus shirt looks quality so in my opinion It could be simply worn the the beach or with nicer shoes and jeans to a restaurant. Ive washed them twice on normal heat which I don't normally do but wanted to see how much they shrink. Not much shrinking so pretty impressed. With many colors and for $6-$10 this is my new go to shirt.

I love the athletic fit of this shirt, but the seams are unraveling after only a dozen washes or so—way too early for a favorite shirt.

I absolutely LOVE these shirts and I did receive both shirts with my order as it claims to do. I got one of these American Apparel 50/50 shirts from a friend that I “borrowed” 😂 & it was from a gym with their logo but when I put it on it instantly became my favorite shirt, I immediately knew I needed my own! So I searched & found these! They are perfect! Don’t hesitate seriously. I’m a 30 yr old single momma of 3 and I love these men’s shirts! Do it! They cover my arms which is perfect for my self conscious issues and they aren’t too thick or hot. They are super comfortable & very soft. I do wish we could choose two different colors instead of having to get two shirts of the same color but hey I’m not complaining. I absolutely will be buying more colors. I'm an average sized guy, definitely a bit on the thinner side. I have found it hard to find a T-shirt that fits just right and doesn't become to short after you wash it. I had always liked American apparel quality but found them to be a bit snug so I decided to try ordering Mediums instead of Smalls and thank God I did because man, I love these shirts. I've ordered them in multiple colors and it's basically all I wear. You don't have to baby these because the quality is really good. Just throw them in the washing machine and they just keep lasting and fitting perfectly.

Althought these American Apparel shirts are no longer made in the USA, I'm still a big fan of this shirt. It's really comfortable, fits well, and is generally very durable. I wear these shirts everyday in a machine shop where they get a pretty good workout and they last a long time (machine wash, line dry). Once they are worn out and holes start to appear, they head to the rag bag and make for a swell rag around the shop. I've generally had good luck on these and similar AA shirts, however, the most recent order I've noticed that after a few wash cycles some of them are falling apart at the hem on the bottom (the thread came out and now the hem is loose over a few inches). Same place on all of them at the back. Maybe I got a bad batch. Anyhow, something for the mfr to note and the reason I gave it a 3-star review.

The best pajama or even work shirts. Very light, super soft, long lasting. The 50/50 blend makes them so soft and cool, great when it's warm. Not a thick cotton at all so will thin out over time but great for the price and the right uses
