After reading all the reviews I too was hesitant about purchasing this product. I travel 80 freeway miles round trip and needed protection for my hood. Those 18 wheelers were destroying it. This came well packaged and the screws were inside. My Husband suggested I wait on him to attach it, but Im like, It looks easy. And it was. The screws holes are predrilled and the only tool I needed was a phillip-head screwdriver. Be careful while screwing them in, I lost two under my hood and couldn't find them, Easily fixed. Went in my (nail box) , found two screws with phillip-head, they worked fine. It fit my 2011 Camry perfect. But dont close your hood until all the screws are in and adjusted tightly.

After reading every single review, I decided to be adventurous and give it a try. I'm glad I did because my 2009 Camry looks great!The shield comes with 6 plastic screws to attach to the hood. The screws are flimsy but they work. It took me about 5 minutes to install the shield.I did not necessarily have to slam the hood in order to get it to latch. It was more of a pressing down firmly for it to latch. Call it what you will nevertheless it works fine for me.

I've had mine on my 2011 Camry se for over a year now and must say I love it. I am writing this review because I saw a bad review on this item and disagree 1010%. I did not have any issues installing it on my car and after a year plus countless car washes its still holding up, I can truly say i would recommend this without a doubt. The only bad review I can give this is when I bought mine over a year ago from Amazon, I pad a lot more.

Really. tight fit on my 2011 toyota camry. But looks good after!

Recently purchased a bug/good deflector and the screws that came with it for my exact car didn't even fit in the holes where it should of went. Also purchases in channel rain guards and I was very disappointed! Installed them per the directions. Did everything right as we have in the past and on the second day driver front cracked when i roolled up my window(slowly), then the next day same thing happened on the passenger front. We have always used AVS products but idk what has happened with the quality if their stuff.

No complaints at all. Came on time, as described, no defects, installed easily and we have had no problems since the install.

Doesn't fit my 2007 Toyota Camry XLE. Just like the others, the fasteners are too small, the hood doesn't close at all, even with modifying the actual hood and latches, and finally the actual protector doesn't protect; it stands out too far. Pointless. You'll get your money back, but you won't get the time you waited for this product and tried installing it for hours back.
