My 7-yr-old son had a very hard time falling asleep. He had to read to relax but his lamp kept him up for an hour or more. It dawned on me the other day that it would be awesome if there was a lamp that would gradually dim for people who like to fall asleep reading. Poof! Here it is. With this clock, my son reads by the light of the clock with the sunset feature going and falls asleep easily and peacefully in 30 minutes. Thank you. I just ordered two more—one for me and one for my other son. I’ve always wanted a sunrise clock since I first saw one in 2003 at Sharper Image for $150+. I really appreciate you making an affordable version and adding the sunset feature! Brilliant! My love for Amazon grows more and more with these kinda of luxuries.I agree the buttons are hard to read, especially in the dark. I added hand-written labels.

This clock is great! It has so many really cool options on it. I bought it for my daughter that needs to start learning to get herself up on school days. It gets really bright and you can set the brightness so it either doesn't get very bright or it gets super bright. You can set it to gradually brighter over 10-60 minutes, which is super cool. It has different noise choices to go off at the time the alarm is set for. You can set two different alarms. You can even put it in night mode and it will play soothing sounds for you to fall asleep to with a sunset mode to have the light dim out over a certain amount of time. The light color doesn't have to stay yellow, you can change it to different colors as well. So glad we made this purchase. I definitely recommend it.

I like the look of the clock.I don't like how difficult it is to see the buttons and to figure out what each one does. When it is time to shut off the alarm I have to guess where the correct button is. The light comes on ten minutes before the alarm sound. It doesn't seem to come on gradually, or if it does, I have not noticed it. My previous clock's dawn simulating light came on at a very low level 30 minutes before the alarm sound and very gradually brightened. That was better than this clock. Or it could be I haven't yet figured out how to set up the clock the way I would prefer.

This light works great and has been an awesome investment. The instructions aren't the most clear but they're complete and I was able to figure it out after a few minutes. And once you do, it's relatively intuitive and pretty easy to adjust the time, alarms, brightness, etc. without having to look back at the instructions. Biggest complaint (and it's not that big) is that it can be difficult to see the display when the light is at maximum brightness. It's rarely that bright anyway, but it made setting the alarm times a bit tricky because once you set the brightness for an alarm, it stays at that brightness while you adjust the time, so it's reaaaaally hard to see what time you're setting it to. Just squint and bear with it, and once it's set up, hopefully you don't have to change it again anytime soon.

Loved this clock which is supposed to follow the atomic clock setting of your time zone. About 2 months ago, it decided not to change during the daylight savings time so it’s stuck 1 hr behind. I cannot change the time manually because it’s supposed to change itself. Kinda lame.

I absolutely love this Sunrise/Sunset clock. I set it to start waking me up about 30 minutes before I need to get up and the light wakes me up after about 10 minutes of light. I wake up to only light and no sound which is 00 setting.Sleeping with Ear plugs, it is hard to hear most alarms plus they are so jarring and start every day with annoyance.Now, I wake up energized, refreshed and most importantly in a good mood.I also use the Sunset mode before bed which helps with my insomnia and it puts my toy dog who sleeps with me out like a light.My dog and I have been enjoying our days and nights much better since we bought this clock.

I was sceptical at first, my daughter is hard to wake up and hates it when I turn on the light. This makes the light in the room slowly brighten like a sunrise. By the time the alarm goes off the light is as bright ad you set it. It's a nice transition to morning for myvnon morning loving kiddo.She had the wake up sounds set to birds and music. Found quality is fine, no static or tinny noise.The color changing option is fun too. Adds fun character to her room.

Cannot for life of me understand all the good reviews. So much wrong with this. Numbers are blurry....like a Halo around them (hubs said same thing). Book contradicts itself...says when you hit snooze the light stays on...next paragraph it says it doesn't....and it does not. I WANT the light to stay on to help wake up. It says the last radio station you listen to is what the alarm will use....it does not. It defaults to a station I hate. It was also going off really loud....but finally it stopped doing that. Either I got a defective product or this product really sucks and I wish I hadn't wasn't my money.
