I have used both CrampFix and HotShots to prevent and alleviate cramps during marathons. Both seem to work as advertised (although neither stops them 100% of the time). However, CrampFix is easier to carry since you need to consume a smaller amount per dose than you do with HotShots. One warning, both of these cramp remedies require you to drink a potion with the heat level of a jalapeno. They rely on that heat to "reset" your nervous system and keep the cramps at bay. If the heat level is something you cannot tolerate, then you are going to have an issue with these products. However, because CrampFix requires a smaller dose than HotShots if you are heat adverse, you will better tolerate CrampFix.

Only thing that stops my husband’s cramps at night. It works fast!

Though the taste is a bit stingy and strong, but when I am able to swallow it, it really helps my cramps and my body slow move in my long-distance race across the mountains. Sometimes, just to have it tastes on my mouth, already wake me up from slumber state.

Great product, I'm always doing running events, OCR's or Marathon runs , I've always cramped even though I get enough training milage in but now I make sure I dont cramp, definitely has helped me

Whatever flavor they add can't hide the nasty taste-didn't really notice any difference as far as hydration either.Sorry-calling it like i saw it.

I haven't really tried it while cramping, but have used it if a twinge was coming. It's like having hot tobacco in a race! I think it has more to do with the shock of the hotness than what it actually might do for cramps. I like to use Pickle Juice as well.
