Attwood 10107 Lock N’ Stow™, for Outboard Trailering, Fits Mercury 200 OpitMax, 255 OptiMax, 225-HP EFI, 250-HP EFI Engines

This is a heavy duty bracket that fits my Mercury 250 Pro XS. Simple to use and easily stores in a compartment when not in use. It also centers the motor and holds it in position when trailering.

I have a Merc Pro Xl 250 on a Ranger Z521 and the transom support brace broke in half on my way to the lake and I had to replace it. After shopping for a replacement I came across this Atwood transom brace and decided to give it a try. It works great. Only takes a few seconds to apply and fits in a storage compartment instead of dragging the old style to the back of my truck.

A little pricey, but a very good product. I use it on a 225 HP Mercury

Very good product. Holds motor stable and easy to use. No more crawling around trying to get the motor propped for towing and then rocking back and forth to unstick it from the motor. Spring loaded pins easily squeeze for ease of use.

Easy to install, easy to stow, works well at holding motor up and steady when towing. Rubber insert in 2 holes do not hold up for long periods, but are replaceable. Have owned one before and bought this one for another motor. Happy with purchase.

Very heavy duty! fits in small compartment of boat so easy to store. Motor will not go anywhere!!

Does the job but you have to have the motor perfectly straight, most of the time you have to adjust the motor with the wheel. Can easily smash the rubber grommets right out of it so just snug is all you want. Cotter pins should be out of stainless steel because they are rusty after a week.Works just fine but i would explore other manufactures next time.
