Why is the country of origin uk? did the leaves come from japan?

It is 100% Japanese tealeaves matcha is like champagne or cheddar cheese, it has to be produced in a certain region, and graded. I think it’s because clearspring is an international brand and I’m guessing it gets packaged here?
