Adult Handmaid's Tale Costume Womens, Hooded Red Cloak Robe Halloween Outfit

I got this to wear for Halloween. (Big fan of the show!) Was impressed with the quality. Fabric on the thick side, like a tablecloth fabric. Runs big. I should have gotten at least 1-2 sizes smaller. Sleeves are kind of hidden but are sewn inside the cape. Slits on the side are very high, exposing whatever you wear underneath. I sewed mine down some.

The cloak fits well. I got the L/XL. I'm 5'6", 150 lbs. It really looks good on. The hat is awful. There is no human head this thing could fit properly on. My neighbor is making some modifications on it for me.

Served it’s purpose. I’m 5’5 165 and I got a large and it fit perfect. The downside items that is came VERY wrinkled and the material is hard to iron. The material is extremely thin, like tissue paper, so dress warm underneath. Also the hate was very odd fitting it kept falling off, happy I brought a white scarf as a backup plan! I bought this to take photos for my baby album so it served it purpose.

Decided on this costume because I was pregnant and trying to think of a clever costume.The robe itself fit great! I’m 6’ tall, so I was happily surprised with how long it was.As some have mentioned, it was wrinkly and the bonnet was flimsy. So I just threw the robe in the dryer and it came out wrinkle free! And I just added a little soft cardboard to the inside of the bonnet.For the price?! Def 5 stars!!!

I bought this for Halloween and it was a hit. The quality is great. There were 10 of us dressed like this. We thought it was funny or cute. Well, after the election, this may become my daily uniform. lol.

The cape is of great quality. It is not thin at all. The bonnet, however, is huge. I will have to adjust it to get it to fit my head. The brim is VERY large.
