Got it for my 4 year old nephew and he loves it.

Waxy consistency
We have the melting snowman and he is grea! However, the flamingo is not. The putty is hard and very waxy. Not at all like the putty that came with the snowman. I would not recommend the flamingo and have returned my purchase.

leg broke within 5 minutes.we still had fun with it. cute gift. we have the dog, flamingo, and snowman.

Cute idea but mine was missing pieces
I like the concept as I own the snowman version. It is hard to tell if it works though as my was missing a leg (hard to balance on one leg)
