It does the job!
My charging port recently stopped working so I bought this, hoping it would work to charge the battery externally instead, and it works perfectly! It was a great price and saved me money by not having to fix the camera!

Worked Well.
I can't rate the battery life or longevity yet as I've only had the kit for about a week. But it did serve the purpose I purchased it for on a recent trip.

This device is very sturdy and I like the fact that the battery sits in firmly into allocated spot for a safe charge. I also liked the LED feature that indicates you when the battery is fully charged and ready to use. This charger is one for the sole use of this type of battery and it really does the job. As far as the cost, I feel that it is right for the value of the package as it comprises of 2 different source connections and an extra battery. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a battery charger for a Sony Alpha Digital SLR.
