Keeps the wasps away better than anything else
My husband has a severe wasp allergy and almost died when he was stung as a teenager. Over the years we have tried so many different products to keep the wasps away from him but nothing worked until a beekeeper suggested we try these fake nests. We were amazed just how well they work and for such little cost, some of the sprays were very expensive. We now buy these every year and hubby has gone from hiding inside afraid to venture into the garden, to actually feeling comfortable enough to sleep in his garden chair. He knows that the wasps will stay away once the nest is up.

Amazingly they appear to work brilliantly..
For the last 2 years I have been hanging a couple of these low down in the trees near our dining table in the garden. We eat outside whenever we can and used to be troubled by wasps. Since we have had these on display the most we have is a wasp or two that piss off pretty quickly even when there is wine and beer around. It seems too good to be true & maybe the last two years have been a fluke. I will update this review if things change. They are not very sturdy, but will last through the summer. At the price - why not try them?

Works every time
wasps are territorial are will not encroach where there is already another nest. I've used them for the last 4 years and after having wasps all over the beer garden we now rarely see them. You need to get them up early in the year because if wasps have already nested they will not leave if they were there first. 1 nest usually lasts the season until they end up wet and rip. I replace them every year and they are cheap enough to do so

Nice Chinese lantern.
Well it’s basically a camouflaged Chinese lantern that you would buy from B&q but with more of a nest shape. The camouflage is to replicate a nest. It’s easy to hang as it comes with a cord loop. Does it work, well I’m not convinced. The wasps have just ignored its presence, I’ve tried it in a few different places and it makes no difference. The wasps even land on it and have a wash, chat with their mates and have a sunbathe. Ok, maybe I’m putting up after the horse has bolted or in my case the wasps have arrived but if it was put up at the start of the season would I know if it worked cos I don’t know if a bear does poop in the woods or if a tree makes a noise when it falls if no one is around. I have no nest just a willow tree that is attracting every wasp I the neighbourhood, so I can’t use and wouldn’t use any pesticide. Wasps are great pollinators, I just want them to hang out somewhere else. Would I recommend this decoy, not really but I had to give it a try.

Fake Wasp Nests
They are not very sturdy for something that goes outside in the wind and rain. They have been up few weeks and the paper is tearing on 2 of them. I dont thhink they will last into autumn. I will use the frames to make a sturdier one and varnish it.

Easy to use and sturdy.
I brought these as I spotted a small wasp nest forming in our storeroom at the stables. I have put both up in different places, but it’s still early days so can’t comment on weather thay work, but I haven’t seen any wasps since putting them up. There’s also a couple of hornets around so I’m hoping it might work on them too. They are really well made, sturdier than I thought they might be which is ideal. Great value as you get 2 in a pack. I can’t comment on weather they’re waterproof as we haven’t had any rain and didn’t test. They arrived quickly which I was quite surprised about as most deliveries are taking longer due to Covid-19. Very happy and would buy them again.

Does exactly what it should do.
One decoy lasted around 6 months and kept those pesky varmints away, from our house anyway, they scuttled off next door. Just a simple tip though, tie the base to something to stop it from banging against the wall or a tree, it will last much longer that way.
