High Quality board from a well respected manufacturer
I purchased the B450 Gaming Plus ATX motherboard for my recent budget build. The motherboard came is an attractive and secure box with all the hardware required for installation. Note that I purchased the ATX version so I did not have any issues with CPU cooler installation like others have stated with the mAtx boards. As you can see in the pictures, I have a fairly large cooler attached to the board without issue or interference from neighboring components (Ignore the cable routing, was not done routing when this picture was taken). This board states it is compatible with Ryzen 3 series CPU's out of the box, I can verify this as my Ryzen 5 3600 booted up without issue and no driver updates were needed. The locations for the ports on the board are fairly well thought out, the only thing I would like to see is more fan headers but luckily my cooling fans also had a plug to directly wire to the power supply. Downside to this is you lose fan control but that is not an issue for me as my fans are static rpm. Cons: The bios boot time for this board is extremely slow. I would guess about 10-15 seconds for the board to post and boot the computer. While not a deal breaker it is definitely an annoyance. Good news is that MSI has addressed this and released an updated firmware that resolves this issue. I would recommend this motherboard for budget builds or PC builders that do not care for all the flashy RGB and RGB controller components. This has been installed for over three months of daily use and I have not had one issue with this motherboard. You will notice in the pictures there is an RTX 2060 GPU, unfortunately two weeks after purchase this card was freezing and failing. I made the switch to a RX 5700 and do not regret that decision one bit. The RX 5700 is much more stable, costs less and benchmarks up there with the RTX 2070. ---------------------------------------- List of parts I ordered for my budget build Thermaltake SMART 600W ATX 12V Power Supply https://amzn.to/36jPrOC XFX Rx 5700 8GB GDDR6 Graphics Card https://amzn.to/30LxiYC Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 3200 MHz DDR4 DRAM https://amzn.to/2Ge3YAL WD Blue 1TB PC Hard Drive - 7200 RPM https://amzn.to/30Y4BYR ADATA SU760 512GB 3D NAND 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD https://amzn.to/2NSIb5O uphere 3-Pack Long Life Computer Case Fan 120mm https://amzn.to/2NVwafT Cougar MX330 Mid Tower Case with Full Acrylic Transparent Window https://amzn.to/38vr81B B450 Gaming Plus Max Motherboard https://amzn.to/2sSyblR AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core CPU https://amzn.to/30PlKnu upHere CCF150RD High Performance CPU Air Cooler https://amzn.to/2Gf5Mta

MSI is an amazing Quality at an Affordable price worth every penny.
I recently purchased the MSI B450 Gaming plus max Motherboard for my custom gameing pc build. I am very new to building and only going off of experience from highschool classes I did alott of research. Not only does MSI offer some of the most affordable MOBO's but they do so with all the bells and whistles you could ever want. This motherboard not only looks amazing in my system but it has so many features that I didnt even know existed until I plugged it all in. There's a setting in the bios where you can move your mouse over a virtual picture of the motherboard and it tells you exactly what's installed into the motherboard and what it is. The bios settings are very easy to get into and also very easy to use even for a beginner. The how to videos related to the MSI products are also super helpful and easy to find. I would definitely suggest giving these motherboards a chance if your a beginner or novice. Everything is labeled perfectly and explained on the motherboard. The cpu backplate was easily removed when I upgraded from my standard cpu cooler to a Aio cooler. The motherboard also has an onboard led debug system to help you identify problems. From start to finish this motherboard looks amazing and handles even better. I will definitely purchase another MSI motherboard in the near future for my next build. A school/gaming computer for my wife.

MSI nails it again!
This is the second MSI motherboard I've used (previously an FM2-A75MA-E35 that still works flawlessly 7 years later). Once again, MSI has nailed it. Installation was a breeze and the board is well-labeled. The manual is consice and easy to follow. For me, this board was very nearly plug and play. The BIOS is user friendly and similar in design to my old FM2 board (meaning they got a good design years ago and have only needed to make minor changes) which made this upgrade significantly easier. Using the MSI Live Update tool made updating drivers quick and simple. I have not had to use them in anger but the EZ Debug LEDs are a great troubleshooting feature. This board has 4 case fan plugs which is a major step up from my old board's 1 case fan plug (this resulted in me removing my old front panel fan controller and savings tons of wiring headache). Setting the fan schedules in BIOS was intuitive and provided a few options for fan management. The one downside was using MSI Command Center for fan management; the profiles never seemed to remain after a reboot. This was easily fixed setting the values within the BIOS instead. The SATA ports are located in a manner such that they can all be used. My old FM2 board would have at least two ports blocked with a moderately sized graphics card. With this board, no issues. I don't yet have an m.2 drive so I can't comment on that. Some other reviews have mentioned issues with other components fitting (e.g. RAM or case fans) but I've had no issues in a HAF 912 with a 200mm top exhaust fan and a 120mm rear exhaust fan. The AMD cooler fits perfectly with no interference. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this board.

First of all would like to thank Seller:Blue horse for calling me and asking for my Processor specification.i was worried about the bios update which he told it comes factory updated version this surprised me as I have seen and heard a lot about the bios thing. Packaging was awesome came in bubble wrap marked as fragile. About the MSI B450 motherboard- It’s a beast in terms of gaming as well as other multi-utility functions Unless you have one in hand I can’t tell you how beautiful this motherboard is I’m in love with MSI and will build my new PC all msi It’s the best motherboard in this category you may find gigabyte or other motherboard bit cheaper than this but mind you it’s better than them interms of build quality, durability and also functionality The RGB lighting is awesome but msi could have done more in upper region of the board I would recommend customers to buy from Blue horse.i would buy more from this seller in future like I do from Appario retail pvt.ltd

I am really happy wih the way this motherboard works and it looks great too definitly reccomend it for the price. But the one problem is that the on board mobo lights that says "Gamping Plus" (in the picture) its not evenly lit and it's even more apparent in real life. Its just an aesthetic problem and i cant be bothered to return it as i would have to take apart my fully assembled pc and wait for weeks to get a new one its just not worth the hassle as its just aesthetic and its frunctions perfectly and came on time. Other than this minor fault its a very very good board.
