I got this for my Granddaughter for xmas! She was so excited to get this she screamed! I don't think she was expecting this!My Granddaughter is almost 5 yrs old! Her mom said she looks at it a couple time a day and is very careful with it.She Told her mom this is just what I wanted! It is made very well, it is not made of wood but a very heavy- maybe cardboard. At first, when i read the description about this, the cardboard part turned me off, but I got it anyhow and I am so glad I did! It is a very nice size and the pictures on it are adorable! Can't say enough about it, i would deffinetly suggest you to purchase this one!

Daughter loves her jewelry box. Great design and working music box. It has enough room for all of my 8 year old daughter's jewelry. She likes keeping everything organized and neat. Box seems to be sturdy and made of reasonable quality especially for the price. Should give my daughter many happy years of use until she out grows it.

This jewelry box is a little bit better built then the other one I bought from this company. I bought it for my 4 year old. I was disappointed because the outside is stickers... I'm not sure what I expected! Honestly, my daughter loves it and I'm glad I bought it. I don't think it's going to last years. But like I said in my other review, I will be buying my girls nicer wooden ones in the future. For how they were built, I feel the price is unfair. We will do our best to take care of them so that they do last a little bit longer. Over all, I'm happy because my girls are happy with them. I wish I would have read the reviews a little more carefully!

I just received this. It's a gift item and it was well packaged for safe shipping. It appears to be sturdy but that will be tested by time. It's a great size and it looks just like the picture.I was also able to get an adorable necklace set, some cute bracelets and rings which i staged in the jewelry box.

This jewerly box is so nice. The padding in the drawes do help to protect your jewerly it's nice and soft. The ballerina works fine. I bought this for myself because it reminds me of younger days when I used to have a much smaller one, who says we have to buy this for little girls only, big girls if you want to revisit your childhood I say go for it! The colors on it are so soft and pretty, you wont regret it!

Purchased this for my granddaughter and before wrapping we took out to admire (thank goodness) because after lifting the lid to inspect and hear the music-the lid came off the hinges. ONE TIME OPENING! I can't imagine how these cheap things would ever hold up to a child who would naturally want to open and shut the lid many times to hear and see the ballerina! The item is cheaply made, the little screws that held the hinges were stripped, there is nothing substantial to screw them into for them to hold! Angry and disappointed that Amazon offers such cheap merchandise!
