Easy installation, simple programming
This was relatively inexpensive and simple to install. Programming it takes a minute but it's not too bad. I miss one feature that my old one had ... being able to program days individually. Or maybe I haven't figured it out yet. All in all it's a good value.

This thermostat is a great product from a great brand. Been using White-Rogers for many years, prior to Emerson's acquisition.This programmable thermostat is quite versatile. Can be used with or without batteries so I keep these in stock.

Great thermostat!
We've been slowly replacing the ancient round Honeywell t-stats with these programmable ones. We have 5 zones and just heat, so it wasn't worth it to get a fancier 'smart' t-stat. These are easy to install and allow us to program when to heat the house.

Nice, good-looking Thermostat
I believe Emerson to be a quality manufacturer, and I like the fact that this model is adjustable as to the cycling rate regarding temperature. Can be set at fast-cycle (turns the heating/cooling on or off at less than 1 degree) or slow-cycle (turns the heating/cooling on or off at 1.5 degrees above or below setting). A Honeywell thermostat that a repairman installed has no such adjustment (Stupid!)--so the heat-pump turns on and off too often. The wiring diagrams leave a little to be desired (only showing 24 VAC connections)--and I've wanted to use this as just battery-operated (which it is capable of).

Haven’t used it yet. However, I wanted a backup. This one is the updated version of the one we have in the house, which is 20 years old now. It will fit the same way, size and horizontal, and has the same terminal points as well. That way it will be a simple changeover once needed.

Accurate fully adjustable thermostat
This is my second purchase for this product. The first one lasted years & needed replacement. I researched this thermostat years ago (and had to go through a lot to get one) and bought it because the anticipater is adjustable, meaning you can choose to have the heat rise 1° or 1½°. It is easily programmable. Great product!
