Mother loves it and says it's quite powerful
The only problem is I assumed that the front cover came off so that attachments like a blender could be used with it if bought separately but this was not the case. The covers for attachments are just permanently closed so you can't get them off. Seems a bit lazy that they didn't make covers that didn't have access points instead of just making them un-openable. Hence the 4 stars for having a misleading design. Mother is still really chuffed with it though. Not sure why there's a star rating for warmth as it's not a heater? If it's meant to be a star rating for noise then that'll be a 5.

Doesn’t work properly
The media could not be loaded. So disappointed with this mixer. It will not properly cream butter and sugar as the beater doesn’t reach anywhere near the sides of the bowl, even with regular scraping from sides of the bowl. I’ve tried four times with different recipes and each time I have to stop and finish mixing the batter or icing base by hand. A very frustrating waste of money. My old hand mixer worked better.

Absolutely useless, unfit for purpose
I used it once before returning it. The dial switch was temperamental and sometimes needed a couple of tries before it would start. Instead of creaming butter and sugar, it smeared the butter round the outside of the bowl and the paddle then spun round in splendid isolation. When I added the flour, inspite of using the splash guard, the flour “exploded” out of the bowl, over the mixer, the surface, the floor, and me. After quite a long time supposedly mixing, the mixture was completely inconsistent with a layer of buttery mixture smeared round the bowl and a small pile of dryish ingredients in the middle. When I say this mixer is useless, I mean it actually is useless as in it is of absolutely no use……..a mixer that can’t even cream butter and sugar!!Back to the good old reliable wooden spoon for me.

Great addition to my baking
I have grown to love my mixer. Initially I thought it would do all the mixing but it does need a spatula to remix if you're creaming butter and sugar before adding eggs so it doesn't just stick to the sides of the bowl.Once you get into that routine, it makes great cakes, meringues, bread, biscuits. I always hand mix the flour to fold in but have had great results. The dough hook works well and takes a lot of effort out.Easy to keep clean, the beater is non-stick so cleans very easily and the bowl comes clean very quickly with warm water. My only criticism would be the bowl is large so can be a little difficult to hold and get the mixture out but I'm working on that!Very happy with the purchase as the reviews put this as the best mid-range mixer. For the amount of baking I do, I couldn't justify the price of the top end ones.
