Slim and sturdy
I have a pretty heavy ironing board that I wanted to hang out of sight. This is so slim but also holds weight with confidence.

Minimalist design that works well
This is the second time I’m buying this and it’s just as good. Last time I bought it was 5 years ago and then I had a Y shaped ironing board. It was just what I needed no frills, clean lines and long lasting. This time I’m using it for a t shaped board and it worked just as well. The only thing I wish they included were screw anchors for drywall. Licking I had some old anchors that worked for the included screw. Other than that, it worked perfectly

Metal on metal, needs rubber coating.
The mount is fairly sturdy. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the following: 1) Although they can be drilled, 2 more holes toward the curve of the mount will allow for a more secure installation. 2) the metal hangers, specifically when using a Y-shaped ironing board, aren't covered with any rubber so it's metal bracket on metal ironing board frame. Coating the brackets in rubber would eliminate this scratching and lead to a tighter hold. 3) the rubber tips fall off easily and are useless and only cover the end of hanger. They serve no purpose other than that.I will say that that the mount does mount pretty close to the wall and allows me to close my laundry room door all the way.

It Works!
I took a chance (yep, throwing caution to the wind) and bought this holder for my full size ironing board. I got tired of it falling over from boredom in the closet so I figured I could secure it to the wall of closet. This way it would not only be organized, but people would also think I use thing....hahahahahahaha! Guess what? This holder actually works! It's a breeze to put up and holds the board in a minimal space! It will hold both type of legs for ironing boards so no worries there either. If you actually do iron and will be taking it on a off the holder often....do use wall anchors unless you're lucky enough to find studs in the wall. I used wall anchors just in case someone in my house ever gets the urge to iron....better safe then sorry!

Form follows function
I wanted a simple holding rack for my ironing board and wasn't looking for one of those useless things that are supposed to hold your iron too, but never work. This is it! Cheap, infinitely sturdy, easy to install and completely unobtrusive. Form follows function and less is more! Be sure it is mounted to wood studs or a secure hard board base.Mount to drywall at your own risk; I would never do it. (Reference the morons who try to mount a flat-screen TV bracket to drywall? The failed pictures, with wrecked TV's are all over the reviews on Amazon) But then, I would never mount any type of sturdy bracket to drywall. It will eventually fail. This bracket is designed for 'T' style ironing board legs. It probably wouldn't work well with a 'Y' style leg.

Read To Solve Rubber Ends Coming Off
Installed this behind the laundry room closet door to stow away the ironing board. Like many of the other reviewers noted, the rubber ends do come off really easily. I simply used some Gorilla glue to fasten them permanently in place and have had absolutely no problems with this product. Simply remove the rubber end, place a few dabs of glue to the bare metal, and slip the rubber end back over the hanger. Clean any excess glue that is squeezed out the bottom, and you're good to go. I did that right out of the box before installing the hanger. I did use EZ-Anchors to install this product in case bare screws in sheetrock failed over time. I used the screws it came with with the EZ-Anchors. Hope this helps.

Great simple organizing tool
Great simple tool for keeping ironing board upright. My board is stored at the back of a broom closet. I am in an apartment that does not have a laundry room, so storage areas do triple duty. The ironing board was falling forward when I pulled the vacuum out of the closet. Since this is not a full height cupboard, I needed a hook that did not have storage above the hook. This is perfect. The top bar hits the top of the cupboard, it was easy to install, and it holds my ironing board in place no matter what else is being shuffled.
