These cards are very durable and clearly printed on both sides which is helpful if you are tutoring another person. Many of the cards are challenging, and they are all very helpful for extending a person's reading ability and even their vocabulary. The words are broken down on one side to syllables and include a definition, and they are also used in a sentence o the reader's side in addition to being presented in isolation. Great teaching tool!

We complete 10 cards every day, and after just a few weeks, I've noticed significant improvements in my daughters' English skills and vocabulary usage. Highly recommend!

Great content. Love the way each flash card is structured - sentence in the front for kids to guess the meaning based on the context; sound, syllabus, and meaning on the back for further learning. My son enjoys these cards very much and they help him acquiring new words in a very efficient way. Highly recommend.

My child and I are overseas and I suspected the local English school wasn't keeping up with the level in America. Although her casual reading is on par with her grade level thanks to Amazon, the opportunity to speak and listen is far and few. Sure enough, the words in the 3rd grade box were not taught in her school and she is already in the 5th grade. Practicing with these flash cards with my child should help as she will transfer to an International Middle School soon. I will updated on the progress.There are 240 words per box. The cards are 5" x 3" ( 130 x 76mm) with the word in front and used in a context in a sentence below. Pronunciation and definition is printed on the back. There is a throwaway cardboard spacer to give the cards room to move and a taller index card to help separate words that are understood and store in the back. Words are arranged in alphabetical order and must be randomly shuffled before first used.4 stars as I agree with a previous review that the different grade levels could have been color coded to their box color instead of all green.
