Been using a Kyser partial capo for a number of years and I always had to use an additional capo on the capo to decrease the tension it would put on the strings. No more. I'm not sure how they designed this capo to feel like half the pressure but still perfectly capo the strings without detuning them or being too light that the strings would buzz, but I've officially retired the Kyser and I've never been happier. Fantastic build quality, incredibly easy to use. I only wish I had purchased this sooner.

So incredibly happy with this. I bought this and this is a game change in my playing style. I used to not pick up my acoustic as much and now this makes me want to play it even more! I like the adjustability of the capo. Highly recommend!

I got this for my guitar it works well easy to use and simple just clip it on turn the nob and that's it and it works it makes my guitar easyer to use and sound better seems to be made a decent quality and not to big to store away or to put in a case

What I like about this DADGAD Capo is that if you put it on the guitar from the other side of the neck, you can also have Open A tuning. Put the CAPO on one way, you have DADGAD Tuning (up a whole step so EBEABE), and if you put it on the neck the other way you have EAEAC#E or A tuning, as if you're playing an open A chord.

It's better than a Kyser capo.

In theory, this does what it claims to do. It simulates DADGAD tuning perfectly. The challenge comes when you want to play something you already know in that tuning because the fretting hand has to play very differently to play the correct notes. It might be great for someone who just wants to play around with an alternate tuning. But it does not provide a quick fix if you want to play fingerstyle and avoid retuning your main guitar or keeping a second guitar at the ready. Had I thought through this more, I would not have purchased this. Then mental gymnastics to play a tune with this are more challenging than it is worth. For me, I will just keep tuning/re-tuning between standard and DADGAD.

This is a great addition for any guitarist. No need to re-tune the guitar for a DADGAD-type of sound!

I thought this would be a capo that would cover say, the 6th & 5th or a combination like that but it actually cover 5th,4th &3rd. I'm still trying the figure it out but it opens you up to many possibilities and inspiration.

Material is good. Works only if you use open string dadgad chords. It is a convenience for me because i have a floating bridge guitar.

The Planet Waves NS Artist Drop Tune capo is New but the Rubber looks worn. It works on my 6 Strings Guitars but Not on my 12 Strings Guitars - for leaving the Low E String Open.
