I wonder how mildew and mold resistant users have found this pillow?

Zero as far as mold and mildew resistant. I purchased it on October 30. I’m a person of one in this household just me and my house and bathroom are immaculate. Every single suction cup came out and there was a black soot Deformed in lines on this pillow and my tub I just wrote to them about it. No way this has five stars or 4.9

I mean it's not in the tub 24-7, and if you don't clean it, I assume it would get smelly. But as far as water getting into it, no.

How wide is the top section? My tub only has a couple of inches of rim and then a wall.

It's 12 to 14 inches wide. However, it has enough suction grips, 4 on the lower section and 2 on the upper, that allows it to stick to both the bath and the wall. It grips as it states it does, too. Worth the investment.
