I have a friend who constantly reeks like a beautiful hippie in the '70s. I use reek in a good way. Every time I see her, talk to her, walk by her, she smells so wonderful. I finally asked what the heck it was all about, and she just said she was obsessed with patchouli. She burns patchouli sticks, uses the essential oils, everything. I decided I also wanted to try to smell like her, because it's just a such a lovely, wonderful scent. I decided to try a roll on, as I didn't want to mess with the literal messiness of a carrier oil and dabbing oil on me from a container, and all that. I found these and I thought maybe I could leave one in my purse and leave one in my bathroom. When you pull off the cap and smell the rolling ball, it's a very strong scent. I was nervous because, straight from the source, it kind of doesn't smell great. Which would make you think, why the hell would you put it on your body? Because I paid for it and I wanted to try. I roll just a bit on my inner wrists, rub my wrist together. Then I put two swipes on my two fingers and rub them behind both of my ears. That's it. I don't put any more on. My husband hug me the other day and said, hey you smell like Annie. Success! The scent does leave fairly quickly, within 4 to 5 hours, which is why I have one in my purse. I can reapply whenever I want. Don't go crazy with the stuff, though. If you put it all over your arms, your legs, your neck, your face, you're going to probably smell the way the bottle does. A little goes a long way. It's a very nice, lightweight, pleasant smell. Will buy again, in about 5 years because these bottles are small but I don't use a lot.

My total ankle replacement was the 4th surgery on my ankle. As such, I was eager to pamper my abused limb with the hopes of quick healing. My research led me to the application of castor oil once the incisions had closed. After a while, I decided to alter my therapy to include Frankincense and Helichrysum. These Roll-ons worked very well. Once I used up all the contents, I ended up purchasing pure helichrysum and a coconut oil carrier and refilled the roll-ons. The rolling cap pops on and off with just the right amount of resistance. Works like a charm. I bring one with me whenever I travel. I apply the oils, cover with a fuzzy sock, and wrap with an ace bandage over night. Ensures that I can walk in the morning!

Gave 4 stars only bc, it lacks almost any longevity and I don’t expect perfection for such a low price.. but, hoped it would last longer then it did for sure! Being one who’s always used patchouli oil, I love it when you get a distinct yet, subtle smell that isn’t overbearing, toxic or, too woody. Yess!! there is a difference in what one should smell like if using patchouli as a perfume accent vs. Smelling like a stick of incense burning in a freshman dorm rooms..!! As a self claimed connoisseur of wearing the oil- I’d like to say, this scent is blissful and just what I like!! Im a mixologist at heart when it comes to perfume. My base- always patchouli.. then, I overlay with a fun Fragrance to fit my mood! This would be a good for anyone who wants to dabble in the scent of the boho hippie era, without having to completely commit! If hesitant, I’d say try it.. for $ you can’t go wrong. Plus, the fact that compounding oils can create different results from batch/batch.. who knows, the next batch may have longer lasting scent?! But- as far as a wearable scent of patchouli... this is spot on! (A hack to a longer lasting perfume while wearing- place on skin at pulse points of course.. but, also try dabbing a touch to hair and even darker clothing or denim- it’s oil so, obvious you need to be cautious in how you apply so, not to ruin clothing!!)

I purchased this item in "Tea Tree Oil" and am happy with my purchase. As others have noted, the scent was not overly powerful, but there was a Tea Tree scent present and after using it for my applications - I do believe it is what is advertised - Tea Tree Oil diluted in a carrier oil. It did seem to work for my purposes. I have not had any trouble with the rollerball - the product applied easily. Nor has it been leaking. For me, I'm pleased with my purchase - I think it's very convenient and good value for the money to have 2 roll-ons that are ready to use! I would definitely buy this product again or try another scent if I ever have the need.

I ordered this lavender in the hope of replacing a brand that was more expensive. I knew it was a gamble, but worth it based on the reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't work out and I'll be going back to the Aromine essentials with the next order. Here's why: 1) the scent: it was mediocre - not great - even with the first bottle. The scent was weak and seemed a little off to me. Not terrible, mind you. Just not what I would call "true" lavender. It also dissipated after just a few minutes. I use the lavender oil to help with insomnia, so that was a problem 2) the by the time I got to the second bottle, the lack of what I would call good lavender scent was much more noticeable. To compare, the roll-on this was meant to replace (Aromine lavender) was also ordered as a 2 pack of the same size bottles (10mL). They lasted longer as individual bottles, easily twice as long, and held a good scent to the very last use. In fact, I saved one of the bottles so I could remember the name (just in case) and it's been sitting empty in a drawer. It still has good scent when the cap is removed, while this new product (ordered September 25th of this year) does not. 3) the caps don't seem to seal as well as the other product, which may also be part of the problem with the scent quality and the lasting power. When the order arrived, one of the bottles has slight oil residue on the outside (although not a lot of volume missing, or I would have returned it). It never leaked enough to leave stains or noticeable residue in the nightstand drawer, but it definitely had new residue on the outside of the bottle each time, even though I wiped the bottle off. As I said in the title, maybe that was just this batch. There were a lot of good reviews when I decided to purchase it and save a little money. Then again, maybe it's just me. With $4 difference in the two brands, it might be worth it for you to give it a try. It just didn't meet my needs or expectations, so I'll be going back to the other brand.

I was very excited about trying this product on some broken capillaries that I have on my face. I read that the oil could be very beneficial in fading their appearance. I also LOVE the smell of helichrysum. This product, however, smells NOTHING like helichrysum!!! Quite the opposite! It smells absolutely horrible!!! I don't know if it is the carrier oil that was used with the essential oil, or what, but wearing it on my face and having to smell it all day is awful! I will be returning it. - I'm so disappointed with this product!
