Amazing for the price!
I'm frankly pretty stunned at what you can get for the money these days. This little laptop is so fast and the screen is super sharp! There are (nearly) no compromises, it's all bang for little buck.Speed: Chrome launches instantly, and it breezes through surfing the web (and at 6gb of ram, even Chrome won't eat it all, hurray!) It will run 1080p videos on YouTube no problem (though I didn't think to check if it was 60fps or not), though as with all of these laptops without a "proper" graphics card, going from normal mode to full screen video mode takes a couple of seconds to do.You probably won't be playing modern games on it, at least it wouldn't be a terrific experience if you tried. I'd like to test that theory properly but I bought it as a gift and don't want to install a bunch of stuff on it. But then it's not built for that, it's clearly a web browser and light work machine, working with Microsoft Office for example, and for that it really... excels (ba dum tsh!).SSD: The emmc SSD makes booting a lot faster than it would be with a HDD, and just general usage of Windows is a zippy, low latency experience. It's honestly pretty comparable to my desktop computer with 8gb of ram and an i3-7100 processor. The emmc SSD being 64GB is large enough for Windows and a few apps. I would consider it to be the minimum size required these days, as windows itself takes about 20GB of that and then another 8GB for updates, so straight out the gate you're going to lose about half the disk size to just running it. For that reason, I'd steer clear of any 32GB models. An additional bonus is the m.2 slot, which means there's a potential to make things even faster by swapping to a proper SSD if you have the know-how, or at least have extra space for files if this is your only computer. Note that emmc SSDs are not as fast as normal SSDs, but in this instance I doubt you could tell, everything runs perfectly fast.Screen: The screen is smaller than I would usually go for myself, but oddly due to the impressively sharp and bright display, it doesn't really "look" small. If your choice is between this and a 14.3" Fusion 5 laptop, having used them both I'd go for this personally, but your mileage may vary. The speakers don't seem to be as bad as they are on the Fusion 5 either, but you'd be getting a slightly smaller keyboard.Build: Some people are saying it's brushed metal, I don't think that's the case, I think it's just good quality plastic that's made to look that way, but the whole thing feels very solidly built. It's not heavy by any stretch, but it's not feather light either. I didn't spend a lot of time typing on it, but the keyboard isn't horrible, and they include a silicone protector mat to put over your keys if you want that. The one issue I have is the touchpad has a tendency to jump the cursor to the bottom left of the screen when you press it down where you'd expect the left mouse button to be. It could well be that you're not supposed to click in this way at all, so I stopped doing it and just used the "double tap" method which works fine. I'm a little concerned the touchpad is defective on my unit, but the person I bought it for will be using a mouse exclusively anyway, so I'm not too bothered. Otherwise the touchpad is fine, you can also use the touchpad as a scroll wheel by using two fingers at once.Cons: Other than the touchpad issue, there's the fact that there's no ethernet port, so you'll either have to use wireless only, or get a usb adapter. Thankfully the USB is 3.0, so it should be fast enough that it won't bottleneck your speeds if you go that route. There's also the HDMI port that is mini-HDMI, which some people claim is more fragile that full size HDMI, and usually means sticking an ugly adapter into it which will make it even more fragile... so be careful with it!Conclusion: For this price range, it's amazing. if you're in the market for a cheap laptop that will run web, video and light desktop apps like Microsoft office, maybe Ableton or Cubase, that sort of thing, this should be perfect for your needs.

Great basic laptop for the price. Great for game streaming. Little streaming workhorse!
I bought this over a year ago I think, and quickly wrote it off as rubbish and it's been in a drawer ever since. I was hoping to play online poker tournaments on the go with it but that was a no-go. The software lagged so much it was unusable. Ended up just forking out over a grand for a high end laptop.I had a clear out of my flat recently and came across this laptop again and I have to say, for the price, I'm now pretty impressed with it. It's very lightweight and the battery lasts for ages compared to the high end laptops. Just remember what you're paying though. You can't multi task on this thing. It doesn't like it. Just don't even try! But it's £190.... that's the thing. It's incredibly cheap so remember that if you're expecting it to work like a £500+ laptop.I've been using it for the past week or so in bed for PlayStation Remote Play and Netflix and it's performed really well at these tasks. And no need to keep it plugged in constantly like you would with a proper gaming laptop. The battery goes on and on. Loading programs takes quite a long time but once they're running, you're all good.Glad I found this again. It's the little streaming workhorse I forgot I had! Cheap and cheerful, slim and light, sturdy build, 1080p screen, 6Gb of RAM...not sure what else you would expect to get for this price.

Absolutely incredible product for the price!!
This laptop is incredible for the money and probably one of the best options for students!!This product arrived well packaged along with a charger, manual and keyboard overlay. First impressions of this product were just how thin it is and how high quality the metal finish feels.Upon turning it on I was immediately impressed by the screen quality; it has a crisp 1080p with vibrant colours and great viewing angles, sound however is not particularly good on this laptop sounding a bit shallow and tiny however almost everybody these days owns some kind of speaker so connecting via Bluetooth or aux can address this problem for watching or listening.Battery life on this laptop is nothing special however it’s not particularly bad either lasting long enough to get through a day of note taking in lectures or a Netflix binge. It does however charge relatively quickly which is handy. The laptop itself has a nice high quality build feeling relatively sturdy while maintaining an ultralight and portable profile making it a great laptop to take out and about with you. The keyboard is ok and the trackpad is accurate however has a cheap feeling click. The performance of this laptop is also great as long as you don’t expect too much, it runs the OS smoothly and can run note taking applications such office or google docs/slides/sheets etc making it excellent For quick note taking during lectures, it boots up Spotify and Netflix quickly and provides a smooth and snappy experience all round. However it will struggle with more processor heavy tasks. It does not come with a lot of on board storage however it can be expanded with an sd card and is plenty large enough if you use cloud storage such as Dropbox or google drive. In conclusion this laptop has a great screen, solid performance, a very thin, high quality build, decent keyboard and serviceable battery life all at a price £200/£300 less than comparable laptops from other bigger brands. If you’re on a budget it doesn’t get better than this.
