These work!
These earplugs for divers really work! I keep having water in my ear after diving, and these have helped me immensely.

I can hear waves
I've struggled with surfer's ear for 20 years or so. I used to used silicone plugs bought over the counter. They worked ok but it sounded like I was surfing in a cave. These ProPlugs don't push ear wax into critical areas of my ear and they allow me to actually hear waves and conversation in the lineup. I should have gotten these years ago. It's important to know what size you need.

These May Prevent Missed Dives!
These are great! They prop open my ear canals so I can clear my ears easier as I SCUBA dive. Doc's plugs have decreased my incidence of skipped dives due to ear problems. They also keep water from rushing into the ear canals, preventing pain while diving in cold environments.

My review is for using these kitesurfing and surfing. I wouldn't buy these again. I lost one on my second time out with them. I am not being flippant but a $3 pair of triple flange earplugs from a drug store will work just as good (and better for kitesurfing).

... ripped out of both ears and lost on a pretty heavy beach break
First pair got ripped out of both ears and lost on a pretty heavy beach break. I had the clear ones and had no chance of finding in the water. Amazon gave a credit and I got these. They are good but do come out in heavy surf, fortunately it has been only one ear at a time. If they both come out I am hoping the red will be easier to find in the water. They do a good job of keeping the water out when they stay in.

I hate water in my ears
Easy to insert, easy to remove. In between, you don't even notice they're there. But I certainly notice the lack of water in my ears!

Five Stars
I've been wearing these for many years. Seems to help prevent me from getting ear infections after diving.
